Your saying if it weren't for coin sellers Messi and Ronaldo wouldn't be so high?

Yet EA come out and slap a "minimum" sale price of 5million on Messi........... that helped.

The price bands in place on FUT15 is relative to the current market, which has a major influx of glitched coins and an absurd amount of purchased coins. If this managed to stamp out coinsellers 100% I will be surprised if Cristiano is over 1mill in FUT16.

Aye, hopefully they'll keep it the same in the next edition and he'll be more attainable.

Why do you need to buy coins anyway, stick Matt Jarvis and Sterling on either wing and they're quick enough to cause most sides problems without having to buy Robben/Ronaldo/Messi etc.

The best FIFA players in the world will end up with the best players - the way it should be.

Defeats the point of the name "Ultimate team" if its gonna take me literally every minute of the yearly iteration of the game to get my "ultimate" team.

Before the Price Rangers there were over a million live auctions, there are now just over 300,000 auctions, that's a major hit.

Ultimate Team will probably die off after FIFA 16 anyway. Not sure how they're gonna manage the price ranges at launch, imaging opening a pack and getting Ronaldo, nobody will have the coins to buy him for a hell of a long time.

Not only that, since the price launches i guess they've banned loads too, as i keep getting paired with teams that have a team established date of March 2015, and they have something like 62 chemistry and a team overall of 77-80.

Another thing that ruined price ranges, when they first launched, price ranges were the same across PC, PS and Xbox, now they're all different.

You remind of those people complaining that you had to grind missions in GTA and blamed Rockstar for not giving you absolutely everything at the very start.

If you want the best team you have to work hard for it, not exactly a massive logical leap...

It's like starting a game of FM and moaning that you can't buy Aguero, Ronaldo, Messi and Neuer in the first season.

Why would you want to sell Ronaldo if you got him?

Build your team around him instead?

Lol UT won't die off at all. The game will be infinitely better as a result of price bands next year. And if you got Ronaldo in a pack, why would you want to sell him anyway?! Surely the whole point of UT is building chemistry with your best players; and Cristiano is undoubtedly the best player in the game.

I really hope the recent changes has destroyed all hopes of coin-sellers making a return. If this is the case then Cristiano & Messi are going to be hopefully attainable prices at around 1mill coins; which would be totally fair.

I don't see how you could think otherwise, JL.

This. Whenever I played I found it was more fun to build around whatever packs I got. "I got 4 Bronze Germans, I'll build a German team". Rather than just building the same team as everyone else

UT on FIFA 13 Ronaldo cost about 1.4 million coins.

So I'd say you'll see him around that amount when EA set the price brackets on FIFA 16.

If everyone that got a Ronaldo in a pack kept him, there wouldn't be any on the market. That could be said for all players, too.

I'd rather sell him and make a team with the huge amount of coins i'd get especially as its supposed to be a "trading" game. But no, that won't happen under these restrictions.

Yes, but if he's going to be at a price of around 1m people would be able to afford him through either FIFA point packs or actually playing the game.

Realistically the chances of you coming up against Cristiano in the first 3 months should be slim to none, how it should be.

You are joking, right? How would UT die off that quickly?

Exactly. Ronaldo and Messi should always be incredibly difficult to get while they remain the best player on the game. UT would be awful if we could all get the best players easily.

Played the demo and thought it was absolutely wank. The movement is so linear but the players faces are incredible.

Yeah have to agree it was more enjoyable than FIFA when we were playing it.

Although the shooting is a bit fucked until you get use to it.

PES was good until about 2009, its been not great since. I used to love the old PES games though, I played them way more than I did Fifa. The customisation is the one department where it beats Fifa. I did get PES 14 towards the end of last season, but it was so bad it was unreal. The loading screen before the matches took about 5 minutes and the goalkeepers were complete retards.

Do i?

The fact that the market has gone from over 1million auctions to just over 300,000 paints a pretty good picture as to peoples feelings. I went on around a week or two ago and there were 23,000+ playing UT seasons, right now there are 11,478. That's almost half the amount as before. A lot including me won't bother with FUT on FIFA 16.

I played the demo a while back and it was pretty alright, might give it another try this weekend.

The review saying "embraces its PS2-era roots" got me excited. Nothing can beat PES2. Replay music was classic.

I once got accused of pace abusing on Fifa 13 despite the fact I had Pazzini and Cassano up front with De Rossi and Pirlo in midfield. He had some 3-5-2 Brazil pace team with the likes of Ramires, Neymar, Luiz and the rest. All he did was spam lobbed through balls and I ended up winning 5-0 without him having a single shot on target.
