They spelt letter wrong.

Their press release earlier today ended with the phrase 'in anyway', hardly conclusive proof.

It probably is.

Parker, Taarabt, Bent, Stekelenburg, Amorebieta - Fulham have made some impressive signings this summer.

Taarabt is not an impressive signing though. If he plays like he has been at QPR the last two seasons, the signing will hardly be an improvement to what they already have.

Willian to Spurs looks like its a goer.

Another Liverpool target stolen by Spurs.

Quoting this directly from Redcafe, thought it was interesting.

Diego Lopez was chosen over Casillas for Sunday night's game. Ancelotti said it was a decision, "for that game" and the choice a matter of details. My assumption was that given he'd done three transatlantic trips that week (unlike Ramos and Isco who went straight from the US tour to Ecuador) he was just being rested.

However, Casillas allegedly didn't see it like that. He'd let it be known to his press pals that he was expecting to start, so when Ancelitti chose Lopez he was apparently not amused. He didn't warm up with Lopez and the keeper trainer before the match.

He had lunch with some pals on Monday and told them that he couldn't believe he'd been dropped for "sporting reasons" and that it had to be Perez who'd ordered it. So, he was again thinking about leaving. Apparently he also told them, that he'd had offers and that his favourite was the one from Manchester

Some of the press think it's just Casillas campaigning to get his job back by manipulating the Madrid crowd, and that he's insulting Lopez by simply assuming he was automatic first choice irrespective of form or tiredness. Others of course say that it was disrespectful of Ancelotti to leave him out without giving him a satisfactory explanation.

Cassilas seems like a massive child, wonder if there's any truth to the matter though. Can't imagine us or City are actually that interested.

Utd and City both have top quality young keepers. Can't see him playing for either. And given that he;s frustrated at not starting I highly doubt he's going to go to 'support' De Gea

No, exactly I similarly can't see him wanting to be the player whod come over to give Hart a kick up the arse and be happy with that either.

He seems like a cancer though, basically got Mourinho kicked out and has turned on Ancelotti after one game. I wonder if he could go without bringing Ancelotti down with him.

I love a good rumour and this one is easily spread because there is obvious foundation, but I wouldn't use a guy using a supposed lunch with friends as a base for a conversation.

Sport Wereld are usually very reliable and don't indulge in the routine transfer gossip, even when it's related to their own players, but with this Fellaini situation they appear to be absolutely convinced that the player wants the move and it's going to happen.

Sport Wereld also have a decent relationship with the player himself, he often does interviews for them and is open about his future. Those interviews have been picked up more than once by the English media and his words have been quite literally changed (A good example from The Sun of how to do just that is here), but that hasn't stopped Fellaini from returning to speak to the newspaper nearly every time he's on international duty. Therefore it wouldn't be a surprise if the outlet has some inside information on this one.

They claim that Manchester United will put in another bid for the player before the end of the end of the transfer window, and perhaps before the end of this week, but that they expect the final price to be closer to €20m than the €27m which was around his release clause, expired now anyway. The gist is that Manchester United never had any intention of paying his release clause because they thought it was too much. That clause starts again at the start of all subsequent transfer windows.

The newspaper is so confident that their headline is 'Road to Manchester United free for Fellaini'. they have no comment to make on the Leighton Baines situation which again shows they only talk of what they know.

Yeah, some dude on redcafe said so, it must be true.

No wonder the beliefs -for exemple that Chelsea's Old Guard is responsible for every managerial sacking in the Roman era- are so widespread...

The poster I quoted basically just summarises the stories going around in Spain, no ones claiming it is true just that this is whats floating around at the minute.

Also, Slashman is your name on reddit the same on here? I almost replied to you to have the same discussion about Fellaini as we'd had on here.

Haha it so obviously is, your post history is just full of comments about how Navas is sexy and you love Dzeko.

I really don't get why PSG or Monaco want Cabaye - to them he'd just be a back-up player as they're so overstuffed with attacking midfielders already.

Saying that I also think that if we feel strongly on Cabaye that we should just refuse to engage with Arsenal. Something I doubt if they dangle a £22M carrot in front of Ashley's nose... although in fairness that does sound like what we're looking for.

Bale to Madrid for £93m and Coentrao is doing the rounds.

Edit: That's £93m including the value of Coentrao not with Coentrao in addition to that fee.

Plus Willian has rumoured to have chosen Spurs, but it could depend on if Bale does leave. Also Lamela is heavily linked to Spurs.

Hurts to say, but Spurs are bringing in some quality. They'll miss Bale if he does go, however they'll be a far more balanced side with more strings to their bow with the additions they've purchased.

Lamela is in Tottenham to complete his move, apparently.

I have to admire Tottenhams ability to actually do more than one thing at once, if this was us in their situation we'd spend a month selling Bale, 4 weeks trying to sign Willain for a low fee and then run out of time to sign Lamela.

Someone mentioned a week or 2 ago that it was no surprise that City and Spurs (and Chelsea to an extent) have done the best this transfer window (getting deals done early etc.) as they are the clubs with a proper structure and a proper Director of Football

I don't think structure has anything to do with it. We got plenty done with Gill in charge.

Its Woodward being a mong that's been our problem.

I'll have no faith in Roma whatsoever if Lamela goes. Marquinhos, Lamela and Osvaldo (tool but good goalscorer) gone in one window, that would be some effort.

Hopefully won't happen....

Obviously they have Directors of Football who know what they are doing. Joe Kinnear lol.

Though apparently we have scouts in Europe wrapping some deals up atm.

Lamela will come in only if Bale goes to Real. As far as I know, Real do not have enough money to pay us the transfer fee for Bale and they haven't paid the bill for Modric yet.

Edit: Willian spotted at Heathrow.

I think intent is the more important factor.

Man City want the title back and have appointed a new manager and are willing to go and buy his targets. And Spurs are probably desperate to avoid a repeat of the last couple of years so are really going big this summer.

City and Spurs had DOF's last season and both had poor summers.
