This download is to be used ONLY when playing the Gamepass version of FM and with FM Touch.
This file will need to be re-applied if/when official patches/updates are released to ensure full compatibility. This is due to the fact that some files which are removed when installing this file are automatically re-installed by Steam when official patches come out.
The sortitoutsi real names fix changes the instances of fake names in Football Manager 2020 to the proper, real life names for awards, cities, stadiums and competitions, in cases where the actual name is not licensed, such as Champions League, Europa League and Premier League displaying instead of EURO Cup, EURO Vase and Premier Division respectively. It will also fix the fact that the German and Japanese National teams don't call up real players and that Bayern Munich and Borussia Mönchengladbach managers have fake names. These are all fully save-game compatible.
This file also changes club names without needing to do any workarounds BUT you will not have nicknames for clubs whose names have been changed.
Due to the way the files are structured (i.e. by SI), the following changes CANNOT be effected (or at least I have no knowledge of how to do it): changing Juventus' stadium name, adding real-life media and journalists, Brazilian clubs' text colours and correcting the 3-Letter competition names.

To make sure the files have been applied correctly, go to the Champions Cup and EURO Vase in your saved game, and they should be renamed to Champions League and Europa League respectively. If you are in the middle of a save-game, German and Japanese national teams will be populated in the next instance that players are called up, and not immediately. Do keep in mind that this file does not add Japan-based players, who are not in the official database and cannot be added in this version.

You can find these folders by clicking, in the Finder, the Go menu in the menu bar, then choose Go to Folder and type the folder path name (obviously inserting your username), then click Go.
You can get to the Library folder by simply selecting Go from the top bar and holding "alt" key - The Library folder suddenly appears on the drop down
For Mac Lion users, the Library folder will be hidden. Use this link to find out how to show it.
For those struggling to find the Steam and Steam Apps folder etc using Mac with the new OS High Sierra, this link below shows how you can unhide your Library folder which will then let you find the other folders.

Thanks, it was just a small contribution. I hope all managers enjoy it!

An update was just released for the gamepass version, and fmf files are now able to be loaded. Should we just take them from the other license fix?
EDIT: Just installed the other License Fix version (the non-gamepass one with the fmf files included), and everything seems to be functioning properly now. Juventus and their stadium name is shown. I left the blank files where they are.
mons
@João Pedr0 - can you confirm this please?
João Pedr0
Well, here I also installed the fmf files in the editor data folder, but I couldn't get the files to work.

Does this file help at all?
burr1985
Thanks for the reply.
I have looked at this file but it reads like it is just for FMT20 on a computer rather than an iPad? When I have loaded the skins and seen other write up's it shows that you have to move files via file share on iTunes into the FM20 file on your iPad, whereas this reads like how I did it for the main game.
I am keen to get the faces, badges, logos and licence fixes onto my iPad but there does not seem to be a guide to do it anywhere on the internet! So if someone knows how to do it I think a lot of people would love it, myself being one of them!

Does this thread help at all?
burr1985
It has loaded all player images from what I have seen and all the badges but, it appears that the badges may be from several years ago? The West Ham badge is the old one (not that I am complaining as the old one was better!), is it supposed to be? If it is that's fine.
Also, and most importantly, I really want the names changed more than anything as I search South American teams a lot and also Juve being Zebre is very irritating. How do I do this?
Lastly, the post says about a bigger pack and to delete FMT off of your iPad before downloading it. Firstly where is that pack as I can not find it on the Korean page it sends you to and secondly I'm really afraid of deleting it now that I have got this far with getting badges and pics! Do you have to delete it?
Thank you so. much for your help, I did search for threads before asking questions but it kept saying there were none on the searches I made so apologies for that.
mons
This file has got nothing to do with the display of player faces or logos - those are related to whichever respective pack you're using.
The way FMT works, the Juventus name change is impossible to implement, I'm afraid.
Thirdly, with respect to your fourth paragraph, I'm not sure what you're posting about and I'm fairly certain it's got nothing to do with this particular download. Since I don't play FMT or use the Android version of the game, I'm afraid I wouldn't have the first clue how help you there and would suggest you'd perhaps be best advised to ask in the thread I've linked you to earlier
burr1985
I can't seem to seer find an updated file for the badges so have asked the person who has posted the comments. The same person, Paul Biggin, is the person who commented about a high capacity file so I have asked about that too.
It's annoying about the real names, was hoping that I could change them.
Thanks for all your help, really appreciated
