Looking at the FM24 Database I think you're correct that they do appear to be duplicates (same birthdate and full name in the FM24 database), however the player's club Africa Foot actually has two players named Ibrahim Diarra in real life so there's a small possibility it's just confusingly similar data profiles for what's supposed to be two different players (which has happened before as researchers get things mixed up).
One is Ibrahim Diarra nicknamed “Forlan”, the other is Ibrahim Diarra nicknamed “Kaka” who is the one in the media recently for the Mali U17 national team and being linked with signing for Barcelona.
