@shadowrun, you're doing an awesome job, both in terms of quality and especially in terms of quantity, so kudos for that 👏

 

For images like this which are a bit on the dark side, it might be worth brightening them a bit to get what I think is a slightly more natural-looking cut. 

 

I fully appreciate that, when you're on a cutting speed-run as you evidently are, fiddling about with such relatively minor concerns is not necessarily uppermost in your thoughts, which is why I shared a Photoshop action file in this post (first link and also attached to the post itself). It contains several common actions I find extremely useful and time-consuming to access in this way while cutting. Instead of having to manually navigate to the brighten menu, I choose the Just Brighten action, press play and voila.

I don't use Photoshop anymore and switched to Pixelmator Pro.

I use ML Enhance to make automatic corrections to the exposure, brightness and colours in a photo.

I guess my monitor is too bright. Colours are fine to me.

Never heard of the program tbh. The colours are fine, I just think the cuts look just a bit better if brightened slightly, but it's no biggy tbh.
