Don't think this is an improvement, it's already been cutout really really badly and I can't find source image for that.

The source is very poor, but @marrtac made a very good cut. You're probably right, it's probably more a good alternative than a clear improvement.
However, I'm a bit flexible on that rule with the change from 180x180 to 250x250.
If you want to cut a 250x250 version of the current cut, you can absolutely do so and I'll be willing to help

Sorry if I wasn't clear, OP didn't make the original cutout as it's just the picture from the Bayern website. Whoever made the cut must have just used the default magic wand in photoshop and thought "meh good enough"...
