Hi there, @kalin094. Thanks for trying your hand at cutting; I believe it's your first cut on these forums, right? It's not bad at all for a first cut, but there are certain aspects which need to be a little bit different in order to be consistent with the megapack standard.

a) We aim to focus on the face as much as possible. Ideally, you only have 1-2 pixels between the top of the head/hair and the top of the cut itself and 1-2 pixels beneath the bottom of the chin/facial hair and bottom of the cut. The first part is perfectly fine in your cut, but the second part is much too big. If it were a poor source, I'd maybe agree but with a source this good, there's really no need for that
b) Snow is what we call the white flecks around cuts, which can be clearly seen in the attached screenshot. Before finalising a cut, I would suggest looking at it on a dark transparent background so that you can spot it and remove it using the technique in this video. When viewing the cut in-game, the end result is much better in this way
c) There is a grey line in the right-most side of the cut. As a community, we have never managed to identify how this comes up only in some cuts and not in others, so I can't give you any advice in how to eradicate other than to zoom in on your cut and try to spot it if it exists.

Thankfully, all the above are relatively easy to fix when starting out on a cut, so I hope you can take this advice on board for future cuts in order that you continue to improve your cutting technique and contribute to the megapack

I'm re-opening the request as I think such a good and relatively easy-to-cut source could definitely provide a better cut. I won't be on a computer with my cutting tools till tonight, but if nobody's cut it by then, I'll give it a go myself

Muy bien hecho; sigues mejorando de un corte al siguiente Solo hay algunas motas de nieve muy pequeñas, como se puede ver en la captura de pantalla adjunta. Se pueden eliminar de manera bastante rápida y fácil utilizando esta técnica y harán que cada corte se vea aún mejor

Es un corte mejor que antes ahora. Sin embargo, no dejaría tanto espacio entre la parte superior del cabello y la parte superior del corte, solo 2-3 píxeles en lugar de 5. Además, intente y conserve la mayor cantidad de detalles de cabello para obtener un resultado más realista cortar.

Tuve tiempo esta noche para probarlo yo mismo. De ninguna manera es perfecto, pero puedes ver un poco más detalles sobre el cabello. También lo alenté un poco para darle un color más realista.



Para ser honesto, esto es ser un poco pedante, pero cuanto más perfeccionista sea, mejor será su corte. Seguid así
