Why do you constantly address people in this aggressive and unnecessarily confrontational manner? I never understand what's to be gained by that 😕 Maybe I made a mistake or I overlooked them - would posting in a more respectful manner not be more sensible? Perhaps think twice before posting in the future, to better measure your words.

I added these cut-outs to the megapack because they were missing, and they will do just fine until a better version is produced. If anything, it might encourage someone to cut them to a better standard. The requested sources are indeed still pending, in fact, in anticipation of that happening. If you feel so strongly about all this, perhaps you can do them yourself 👍

We're getting an average of 5,000-6,000 images every fortnight. I already spend hours every day collecting, comparing and tweaking images but I can't fix them all. If they're missing, they will go in, unless they're absolutely hopeless. These aren't ideal, sure, but they'll do. Even assuming I overlooked them, which as explained above I didn't, they're 20-odd images out of 6,500 in the most recent pack. I do hope I'm allowed a 0.3% margin of error.

No offence mate, but all you seem to do these days is to come out of the woodwork once every blue moon just to have a moan and complain about something. Oh, and to upload requests. You have enough time for that. You never provide constructive criticism to budding cutters, just point out their shortcomings without ever actually helping them resolve whatever their issue is. If you don't have the time or the inclination to contribute as much as you used to, I'd understand that and wholeheartedly appreciate the sterling contributions you've done in the past nonetheless. But in that case, do me a favour and don't come here just to criticise someone else.

If you don't think this is unnecessarily confrontational, then I don't know what to tell you. If you wanted to make a simple question, you could have said “Hey mons, can you have a look at these? I think you missed them/they need tweaking” like many other users do in similar cases.

And if there's anybody who knows how willing I am to change my mind when the evidence necessitates it, it's you:

We've exchanged over 2,000 messages over God knows how many years where you had a look at the images I reviewed and pointed out instances where you thought I made a mistake. More often than not, I agreed with your assessment and changed my mind. So for you to say my decision is final no matter what is pure nonsense. There are times I stood with my original decision, of course; there will have been a reason I took it, after all. 

It's not my fault you don't have the time to do this any more 😕 And I don't see why you should resent me for that and that I should accept you lashing out like this. Even though you're a long-standing staff member, you're not entitled to any special preferential treatment, you know.

If there's anybody here who can't take a modicum of criticism, it's you, frankly. If you go through my post history, you'll see many, many instances where users point out things I could have done differently and which I accept, graciously. I'm not perfect and I make mistakes 😕 However, somebody has to make a decision on what goes into the megapack - do you expect a committee decision on 300-500 images a day?? 

It's all well and good for you to come here at your convenience once every so often to criticise me and anything you don't like, but in the meantime, the megapack has to be taken care of. I spend far too much time downloading, comparing, checking and tweaking cuts and in the absence of anybody else being prepared to take this on, I suggest you compromise and accept that I will take decisions which you don't necessarily agree with 100%. In those cases, you can either politely point them out to me without making it personal so that I can take any action necessary, like everybody else does, or you can flounce off in a huff, bemoaning the injustice of it all: your choice.

Line drawn on this, as far as I'm concerned. As a gesture of good will, I've cut this image for you but I urge you to reconsider your constantly negative outlook; it's tremendously tiring and frankly pointless.
