Just because it's a cut-out,doesn't mean that it should be just croped.As main problem with your cuts 'till now,is (not) checking them on dark background and (not) removing snow around them,especially around hair.
It's better and without the snow,so you can upload it.Although it seems to me like you've masked that part of the hair,and it's unclear as it looks on original source,but since I'm not using Photoshop I probably didn't use correct term for your action.
