@smailito The rejected sources aren't large enough to be improvements over the players' current cutouts.

@11V22 Your cutout is a little blurry (including around the edges) and it's from a source that I believe is a few years old.
I found a source from this season on Sorare that should produce a better cutout 👍
In the future if you're using source images from hns-cff.hr (Croatia Football Federation website), this post shows how to get larger image sizes.

@P-Jo It's a good cutout, but there's not really much point in cutting an image from nearly 6 years ago.
I found a source from September 2022 with his current club but it might be a bit difficult to cut

#709872 Cut-Out Faces Megapack TECHNICAL SUPPORT thread - first post updated for FM26
weeniehutjr
The steps mons linked to are for extracting the default player cutout files from the game - it's possible (and would be easier) to edit the megapack config.xml file so that it doesn't use the megapack images for Brighton players instead. If you have a program like Notepad++, you can open the config.xml file, and search for the Brighton players' UIDs (e.g. “14157184” for Alexis Mac Allister).
To “comment out” a line so that it will be ignored by the game, you can add “<!--” in front of it and “-->" afterwards. So this line:
<record from="14157184" to="graphics/pictures/person/14157184/portrait"/>would become:
<!-- <record from="14157184" to="graphics/pictures/person/14157184/portrait"/> -->#709797 Răzvan Covaci

@Razvan Stancila This source image was already cut here last year

@justapo Good work on this pack, but there's a few cutouts like this one where you haven't included a bit of the collar. See this video for how to move the collar upwards 👍

As far as I'm aware it's the same person. For some reason his UID was changed between FM19 and FM20.
The first image you linked was added to the Cutout Megapack 2012, the other is a more up-to-date one added in 2020.

You can change “medium.jpg” to “orig.jpg”, but it seems that's the largest size they uploaded to their website. Have you checked the club's facebook/twitter pages? Sometimes clubs post larger versions there.
#709658 Alexander Walke
weeniehutjr
@MathiasKP Also, please avoid using an image enlarger. I already told you where to find better source images for RB Salzburg players, so it's really unnecessary to enlarge smaller sources.
Compare the difference in image quality between your enlarged source and the one from Sorare, for example.

Not sure how useful this is - perhaps someone else might be able to figure out what I haven't. While looking for Werder Bremen youth sources I found their website's URL structure for player pictures, but unfortunately not the Filenames themselves.
The URL for the U21 team photo for example is:
https://www.werder.de/fileadmin/Fussball/Junioren/U21/Saison_22_23/SVW_U21_22-23.jpg
“U21” can be changed to U23/U19/U17/etc, and images for news and youth matches are located in the same level.
However for individual player portraits, the Filenames of the small previews on the squad page have been randomised so you can't get the full size from them. Normally when a “typo3temp” CDN is used it means you can just remove “csm_” and the ten-letter key (e.g. "69ddb00428", possibly also the bit before it e.g. “-fp-390-465-0-0_” as well) from the filename to grab the full-size.

👍
I also found that Laola1 has good sources for the squad - just remove this part from the end of the image URL
https://www.laola1.at/images/redaktion/images/Fussball/Champions-League/RBS/Einzelkritik-RBS-2022_23/okaforek_97d56_f_420x236.jpg
Like so:

Although you might have to add a few pixels of blank space above in Photoshop/your image editor because the image is cropped right at the edge of the hair
#709630 Noah Okafor
weeniehutjr
@MathiasKP The player's face in these sources won't be large enough to make this pack an improvement over the current cutouts.
Try and look for larger source images - for example Sorare and Worldfootball have larger sources for RB Salzburg players.
#709623 Bariş Kalaycı

In this case, the original, larger source was easily found on google images 😉
#709567 Albin Krasniqi

@adesmir Where did you get these source images from? I'd like to see if it's possible to find larger sizes but I wasn't able to find the sources.

#709451 Emmanuel Frimpong

@dstyle87 Please avoid uploading screenshots of source images - it's better to upload the original image itself.
If you right click on the image on the Bayer Leverkusen website and click “Inspect Element”, you'll see this DevTools panel, where the URL of the original image can be found.

Who's the person in the image? I can move it to the correct profile if you know who it is.

#709089 3D Kits Official Thread FM 05-24 (NO REQUESTS)

FCL on the FM Italian Forum has made a Serie B kitpack, I think it should include the Palermo kits https://football-manager.forumcommunity.net/?t=62563647
#709048 Timo de Graaf
weeniehutjr
@wfm18 If the player already has a recent, high quality 250px cutout it doesn't make sense to replace it with a 180px one.
#709037 Matthew Holden
weeniehutjr
@Carsie If you're requesting a source image to be cut, it's better to request the original, full-size image rather than one you've put through remove.bg. The sources you've requested are all quite small - when using remove.bg you need to crop the source image to the area around the face first, because remove.bg downsizes the resulting transparent image if the image was too big. Cropping first ensures that the resulting image will have the face as large as possible.
#708938 Daniel Okwute
weeniehutjr
@ryqnthekid These are all far too small to be useful for making a cutout from.
#708924 Adam Taggart

Source from this season as current is from 2018 (requested before I remembered him being at a J-League club would mean he wouldn't be in the game 😅)

Actually @mons it seems like a lot of the images in this pack suffer from the same issue unfortunately

@Vyrida Try and make sure that you don't stretch/squash an image when you're making a cutout - you've made this one is too wide. When you're resizing/cropping, there should be an option for something like “Preserve aspect ratio” or “Constrain proportions”.
