Yeah, there's a very nice chap on the SI forums coding a Mac one which will be free and not have adverts.

The FM community is generally an excellent place and thankfully only a minority that monetise things. It wouldn't surprise me if they get a take-down notice from SI though, like FM-Britain did when they started charging for their FM Guide...

Rob will be releasing small upgrades throughout this week. We were vastly restricted on the old forum, whereas everything on this new one has been coded by him from scratch. That is a lot of work, and the improvements are plain to see, just have some patience.

Simple answer is you can't. yet....

I spoke with a chap at SI about this and he's waiting to get back to me with whether or not it will be fixed in a future update....

It doesn't cause the game to lag at all, so it was a bit of a waste of time removing them. It does make it slower to load when you first start up, but that's all.

You'll need to provide more info though, such as location of folder, number of images inside folder and size (in MBs) of the config file.

None at all, you may have an unreliable connection...? Try using a download manager (search google) to download the file correctly.

You can't have read the instructions very carefully...?

Put the CONTENTS of the update folder (ie, the images & the config) into the Megapack folder - accept the overwrite warnings.

Not the WHOLE folder.

BTW - we have a Megapack Technical support thread HERE, so please use that is you have any other problems.

Of course he's in the MP. Must be an issue at your end. Look up his UID on your PC, if he's not in your MP folder then you don't have the full MP installed. If he is, then either you haven't installed the folder/config correctly or you're looking at his profile through the Dutch national squad and haven't installed THIS

Have you moved the contents of 5.01 into the main 5.0 folder or did you move the WHOLE 5.01 update folder in?

And if so how many images do you now have in the folder and what is the size (in MBs) of the config file?

Rowan this also works perfectly on the default skin & another custom skin that I have. To save yourself from having to answer a lot of questions you might want to add to your download page comment explaining where people need to save the files if they are using the default skin.

Forgot to add. Mega thanks to Tom & Rowan for this . This mod really makes the game so much better (& makes checking for improvements a lot easier too ).

Cool. would you need to put it in the Steam directory for the default skin, or can you simply add a skins & panels folder to your my docs for it to take effect?

Hi, I keep trying to download the complete megapack with my premium membership but every time it gets to 4GB it stops and says disk is full. However, I know for a fact that it is not as I am downloading to my external hard drive which has 300GB space on it. I know this isn't exactly a problem with the file but would anyone know what I could do?

Just download the regular Megapack Updates. As you can see from THIS thread we are going through all the SI included images and cleaning them up for dark skins. If they are MP improvements after this they will go into a forthcoming MP update.

The only manual option would be to extract SI's image yourself via FM Resource Archiver and renaming each image by UID and overwriting the ones you want....however that would take ages and as I've said, mons and the team are already doing that process for you.

Have you followed the instructions regarding tick boxes in game preferences? Have you unzipped the pack? how many images does it have inside the folder and does it have a config file?

Check that you actually have the image...search "8079.png" on your pc.

Also the Jese image included in that RM Castilla pack that mons posted is excellent and NOT the one you are referring to. So download the MP update that comes out tonight and all will be updated.
