BitWolf, it might be easier to get those ideas, if we knew what are all the variables, triggers or what so ever that you can get from the game.

Have you done sounds of rain, and from drizzle to water pouring down? Can the type of rain be gotten from… anywhere?

But, NO thunder! Unless that is included into the game (game has to be paused).

And, because I asked if those smaller audiences could be included - when the amount of viewers is low, also a single horn or drum could be heard, even single shouts.

Shouts in English only would be OK for me (=my chosen language).

What pic size is about the MAX? Cities 1920x1080? What is the minimum (so that pic looks nice)?

We have plans to make a leagues mod, and a background mod with it. Cities and stadiums in and out.

I know the program ‘FM Graphics Configurator’, but I have done only logo packs with it.

There is option ‘Background - Stadium’ there, but how to to use that program most efficiently with all three options -

cities bg and stadiums inside and background? Or is there another program, or…?

Renaming folders, and using ‘search and replace’ in config-file?

BTW, will it cause problems, if those pictures aren't in defined size?

I like to start from the bottom or lower leagues, and there are maybe only less than 100 spectators in those games.

What info can your program get from FM - like number of spectators?

And, even in the future, could you adjust the crowd sounds so that you could feel whether the game is in a big stadium or on a local sports park?

I don't mean all the chants for all teams, but adjusted ambient sounds etc.

I think that FC Eurajoki ID 2000238062 logo doesn't use any “background”. This can be seen in here

Those ID numbers (as names) may cause problems. I'll have to check them all. Later.

URGENT!   I sent you that SUOMI (Finland) Mod stuff. You should / can have a pause with that. 

I'm not the person making the league file, but this is what I know.

For some reason the Editor keeps changing those team ID numbers - like it's always creating a new file, while it should be updating a file.

And, of course, if those ID numbers change with every update, it's hopeless…

BTW, I try to help you with those new ‘default’ database Finnish teams' logos.

          For instance, you can find that FC Germania Helsinki folder from the pack I sent.

I think that the best way is that you keep only one folder.

When you have finished some logos and added them into that folder, you could give me the new link. How often - I don't know…

That way there won't be any duplicates, when updating that folder.

I did use exactly that system. But, like I told - I noticed that ID 2000209276 KePS/2 logo is missing.

But,… I have that one in my ‘collection’. And I think, that I'm using ONLY Metallic logos pack…

That is why I asked if your browsing system list is up to date.

And, BTW, KePS/2 has the same logo as KePS or Kemin Palloseura.

We are doing a mod where will be all lower leagues teams in Finland. Now they are missing from the default database.

From that link (down) can be downloaded all stuff like folders with pics, FM ID numbers aso.,

and there is also a text file with lists with teams that can “inherit” their logos from their “parent” club.

A few teams are still missing from this file - but I'm waiting some emails.

There's a lot of stuff there, I know. No hurry.

But these are all real Finnish clubs and teams, and some day they might be in the default database…

I have searched logos for Finnish teams NOT in default database (for a mod).

I also looked if you needed anything, and I noticed that one, that is missing is ID 2000209276 KePS/2 (contribution page).

I have a logo for that team in my game… Is that list up to date?

Are there any Finnish teams' logos missing?

Also, I found three Finnish logos that are ‘questionable’, but am I sure… NO.

Little question:

with every club there is a badge, but which one should be chosen into FM, if

• there is both a "parent" association badge, and
• its football branch badge?

This can happen at least in Finland, where the parent association can have many different sports under it, and some can have their own badges.

Well, I knew that, but for now I have only “visited” there.

By the way, do you know any “good” manuals for pre-game editor?

When you save there - does it mean ‘the whole database’ or is there an option ‘only changes’?

And how to get those changes to work as a mod in docs>fm23>editor data?

So, you just can't do these things without the pre-game editor.

There has to be a kit created before it can be updated.

First, I have successfully updated kits. So, it's not THAT problem.

You know that teams have at least two kits, and some times three. And maybe for continental cups…

If a team doesn't have that third kit created in vanilla game, how can it be added using a mod?

At least for me just trying to UPDATE (the usual way) that third kit fails. It doesn't show up.

It is like “you can't update data that hasn't even been created”. Is this correct? And, how to fix this?

The same thing would be with Continental Cup etc. kits - how to add them?

(Kit 3D texture and a config file? And what goes in into that config file? Example?)

Is there any differences if a team was created with a mod?

And, the other way round, how to get vanilla game third kit to disappear with a mod?

We have a little logo problem. There is a group (we) that is trying to make even the lowest leagues in Finland playable. I know that a lot of lower leagues teams are already in the database. And, that you have made logos for them, too. Nice! Thanks! But, some teams are still missing.

If we deliver pics of those missing teams' logos, would you “polish” them the Metallic way?

Even if they are not in the official FM database? (Yet.)

Your posting seems a bit old, but hope this helps. BTW, I'm not an expert either.

First, I expect that you have created and loaded your team successfully. So, you have team's ID number.

Now, what you could try, is that you go to ‘https://fmkitcreator.com/’ (FM Kit Creator) and make an example home kit for your team.

There's not that much you can do with that program, but at least you can test everything works.

In Settings area remember to write your team's ID. Draw something, and then press ‘Download’ (lower right corner), and ‘Download Zip’.

You get a Zip file into your Download folder. Unzip that into FM's graphics/kits folder.

In that folder there are your home kit picture, game engines 3D kit picture and needed config file.

Go to FM, reload skin and your home kit should appear into your team's Overview page.

This way those graphics files have correct type, and config file is automated.

If that worked, change that 2D kit pic into what you had designed earlier (check filenames) and reload skin again. Still OK?

(Config file can be opened with WordPad aso.)

I once tried to help you to find photos of kits. When FM23 comes out, I'm ready to help you again. Or even now on… Just tell me league's name.

I might also try to make some kits by myself. Do you know any video that teaches all needed stuff. “Copy-paste” from a photo doesn't seem to be enough…

What programs are used (=easy to use & free)? Templates? If there is no template? How to secure decent quality, so that it looks nice when used? 

Is it so, that 2D shirt is used in team Overview page, and 3D kit is used in 3D game engine, no shirt in 2D game engine? Any other kit picture needed?

How much time does it take to finish everything (both 2D and 3D) for ONE team (if pics already found)?

Have SI used the same format in its kits, and do you know if the same goes on with FM23?

Any hints and/or warnings?

PS. Did some research. Is FM Kit Creator capable to do all kits? What are those Minikits, that 2D shirt that is used in tactical screen before a game? Can this make those Overview shirts? Do you use this one?

Will anyone still be making these kits into this kit pack?

I'm willing to help. I still could try to find pictures of these kits, if only you give a name of division.

I once contacted you how to help you with these kits. This is a link to a file with some pictures. They are in folders named after those teams in it. Empty text file's names just give info about team colors etc.

I even tried to contact some teams with an email, but no answers - at least yet. Most likely never.

And yes, you were right, some pictures (from this season) are hard to find! And some teams seem to have only one kit!

And tell me if those pictures aren't good enough.

First, thanks for this kit pack. These kits look much better than the originals!

Second, have you considered using last years kits (in the pack), until new ones are ready? Not perfect, but…

And then, you wrote that the main problem to get kits done is lack of good pictures. If I, or anyone else, would like to help you, what means ‘good’?

Would a photo found from the net be enough, or…? (And, in photo shirt can be seen straight from front and back, of course.)

How many pixels? What info - league, team, home, away, third,…? GK shirts? What else? AND, how to deliver those to you?
