I have never used PhotoShop. I know that there's GIMP, but I haven't done anything with it either.

For me the main reason was that there just weren't that much Finnish kits around, so…  And those kits were only for me.

Somewhere I saw a posting, where it was said that there are not as many kit creators as there used to be.

I just thought if there could be any way to get more people to try making kits. First easier tool, and only then possibly PhotoShop.

My idea with KitCreator (or whatever app) is that there could be a guidebook how to prevent kits becoming blurry, aso. 

And maybe there could be something adjustable in the app itself. And still use quality control.

Still they wouldn't be as good as PhotoShop ones, but…

2D or 3D? Both. As mentioned, I have used KitCreator, and it makes both of them.

And because FM starts to use Unity, will it make 3D kits to be even more “important”?

And, as you said, that those 2D kits can be blurry - isn't there anything to do to the app to get them better? To be good enough?

For me kit style hasn't been any issue. I use them mixed. Better any style kit than vanilla…

Yes, it would be easier, if we would know what decisions developers have made. Especially with graphics.

KitCreator is a fine tool to make kits, but not perfect. These are examples of what I made two years ago.

Some of those aren't exactly “official”, because there just wasn't every collar or pattern in KitCreator…

But, with KitCreator it's quite easy to make decent looking kits, and so - would it be OK to allow them? And it makes both 2D and 3D kits…

And, of course, there could (should) be some kind of quality control.

At least I find it quite nice to work with What You See Is What You Get. There might be also others.

Sure. But if SI still relies on mod makers (like they have done), then we will know some day.

That is why co-operation would be even more important.

I know. I have made a few myself (with KitCreator). Mostly for myself, but they were also downloadable.

I think that “rules” here for official kits are too strict. Like me, I didn't have templates for those REAL kits of REAL teams, and so

I put those kits into ‘other graphics’ section. And KitCreator I could still use, but PhotoShop… no.

For me it's enough when those kits look good, they don't have to be perfect.

FM25 will be a NEW game. Unity and all.

Well, I haven't heard anything about kits (or other graphics) in FM25. 

If FM25 would otherwise be an enjoyable game, it would be great to have larger coverage of kits earlier - and not multiple top league kitpacks…

So, could kit makers make some plans for co-operation? Also with others than from Sortitoutsi?

I was able to contact a person in VaKP, and he told that they use the old (red) logo,

and he didn't even know why that green-white logo is made for…

Edit.  Actually, they had used that green-white logo for some time, but then went back to the original one.

I'm trying to add pics (for a mod).

I noticed that in faces folder some pics are 250x250 and some 180x180.

Which size is “correct” or suggested?

I'm a lower leagues manager, and I think that my players wouldn't use those nice, colorful, expensive boots.

I think that they would want to use basic, but good boots. And the are some nice ones in your collection.

If you ever have nothing else to do, you could add these or pretty same kind of basic boots into your collection - Patrick and New Balance.

That old, red-centered logo most likely is from the workers union times (1929).

In this zip there are a few logos of existing Finnish teams, but which are not in the database.

In the folder there's a read this file.

I wanted to make (or copy) balls for a mod. I took your pack - with your name in it - and added some balls for the mod.  That's OK?

Question: how does that cup style Knockout Standard Ball mode work?

I mean, that what balls will those teams use BEFORE the knockout phase? Normal league ball?

What kind of line should there be in config file?

Can the ‘friendly’ ball be defined league by league?

There are a lot of pics included in two separate folders (for light and dark skin) - league logos in white and blue to be used with a mod.

If it would need a lot of work, only white logos is enough.

TuWe is a sports association with multiple sports. Its football branch uses a bit moderated logo (football in back).

Logo with texts is the correct one. Sorry.

OK. Forget that previous posting. Of course, let's try this.           I wrote those replacements into your posting, so look up.

With KAKKONEN or 2, those are three sections or branches  with letters A, B and C.

From div 3 to 7 those abbreviations mean South, East, West and North, and of course Lappland.

And, with Länsi that's letter a with dots.

OK. That would have been a wise thing to do. But, no. Most likely I used the only copies there.

Well, maybe I will make another set of these logos with those abbreviations. Some day.

I do understand that the normal way is to make smaller versions just by shrinking the ‘normal’ one.

I did this another way. Example - there's a league named ‘KUTONEN ETELÄ’ (which means ‘6. div south’) in ‘normal’ folder, 

and I changed the name ONLY in that ‘small’ folder into form ‘6 Et’ - an abbreviation. That way it is at least a bit readable. A set of new logos there.

These abbreviation names in logos were in my link in folder ‘small’. The full set. But, yes, that would mean making ‘another’ set of logos…

But, if you can get that metallic coating ONLY for a folder full of smallest logos… 

If that would need a NEW set of ‘normal’ logos (with abbreviations), then forget it.

As I wrote I had to change those logos in the smallest size. I used leagues' nick names, like KUTONEN (= sixth), in ‘normal’ and ‘@2x’, 

but that name takes too much space in ‘small’. That becomes unreadable. So, pics in folder ‘small’ aren't smaller copies of ‘normal’ pics.

So, could you remake that smallest set of pics in 'small' folder?

Could you polish these the Metallic way? These are league logos for a mod containing divisions 3-7 in Finland.

There are quite a lot of pics, but those smallest league logos had to be adjusted (so that we can see them).

hammer9, this isn't a request, but… I need some help.

I like to play lower leagues, and so I have to use added leagues files. Personally I have made a few added graphics to be used with these.

As far as I know, when mods are loaded into game also UID's are checked, and maybe they have to be changed (if non-vanilla UID's).

You have made a lot of lower leagues graphics - how do you make sure that UID's (that you use) are ‘fixed’ (if they are ‘non vanilla’)?

Have you any idea? Anyone who would know?
