Anyone got some fun teams to play with? All I really play is seasons and wouldn't mind some new teams to try out.

Anyone get the feeling the deal was done a while ago and its release was delayed so that Adidas could get its marketing ready?

Good luck negotiating 60+ international trade deals, that have historically taken up to a decade to be finalised, from a significantly worse bargaining position. Not to mention that the UK has huge exports of financial services which rely upon EU passporting.

I can't see any other way in which your economy isn't in turmoil for the next decade?

Is the much maligned English youth system really coming home to roost at the moment or something? That looks like an awfully weak squad. Even when you guys have performed poorly on the international scene you always had a pretty damn good selection of players to choose from.

£227k a week for a bang average player How desperate must they be over there.

They throw ridiculous amounts of money at average players because they just stop paying them if they don't perform up to scratch. The Chinese game, is predictably, dodgy as fuck. Contracts mean sweet fuck all over there. They discard players as they please.

I don't understand how Mayweather is a big star.

Boxing has clung to him since there is no other decent big names in the sport anymore.

He is pretty similar to a WWE super heel in that everyone wants to see him lose, except he never does. Plus having his own promotions company means he can earn stupid amounts of money to further build his 'money' character.

It wouldn't even be that hard to create a quality card with the wrestlers available - there's some good talent it just needs longevity in a storyline and get rid of this authority bollocks.

Could have Wyatt going up against Triple H instead of Sting who could have faced the Undertaker (I know the match would have been poor but the drawing power is superb, it's a dream match). Wyatt could have faced Triple H for control of the company or something - and unleashed a year long of hell on other wrestlers/winning the belt before losing to Undertaker at Summerslam to hand it back to someone more suited. It would put him in a good slot.

We're still yet to see Ambrose vs Rollins vs Reigns on a big stage, and Cena could FINALLY turn heel against someone like Hogan after his match against Rusev.

Then let Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler wrestle for about 2 hours and no-one would complain.

Tricky where to put Lesnar, though.

Bryan vs Lesnar writes itself. David vs Goliath. The champion verse the man who never lost his title. People say Bryan isn't believable but in kayfabe terms he has beat Triple H, Orton and Batista all in one night. I just don't buy Reigns beating Brock atm either. He is not exactly all that strong (in relative terms) nor is he a a particular good wrestler.

It doesn't even matter if Bryan loses and Brock is leaving. Just have Seth cash in or something.

So instead of having a white hot build they have left themselves with a boring as fuck feud that is going to leave the WM main event winner being booed out the building.

Vinces hard on for Reigns has fucked the card up so much. Reigns is no were near over to be in a WM main event, let alone win it. He could of been a huge star but they strapped the rockets to him to soon and have fucked him over. Also imagine how much shitter the build would be without Heyman?

I thoroughly enjoy Top Gear, or at least I used to, I'm never really around to watch it. But the support for him, when you lay out the situation objectively, is bizarre. These are the same people who argue for soldiers getting footballers wages, due to moral reasons, but can only see selfishly when it comes to their own interests. I'm sure many of the people voting on change.org are menial workers in shit jobs up and down the country, would they feel happy if someone punched them at work and was allowed to return?

I'm all for fucking about and learning from mistakes, forgiveness is a valuable part of life, but there comes a time when you have to take a stand. No one person is bigger than the ship. That's a fact in all walks of life. Bigger people have fallen on their swords for far less. Clarkson is a TV presenter, he's not General Patton.

Where have you been? Ever finish that book?

Oman what a result that was for Australia.

Probably has a lot to do with the cost for travelling fans to get to and from Perth I'd assume.

Nah was cause we didn't have a decent enough stadium during the bidding process and the political will to host games. Our own fault more then anything.

How did you enjoy the terrible Sydney atmosphere Flash and that cesspool of a stadium Flash

True but there's a difference between seeming dodgy and actually being dodgy. I can see how it could be - i.e. if NYCFC were paying a players wages during a loan to City - but that doesn't seem to have happened, people just seem to be going to the reflex reaction of it seems dodgy, therefore it is. Everybody was up in arms about the Etihad deal and that was perfectly legitimate despite all the claims along the lines of "it's clearly dodgy".

The Villa deal was the bigger eyebrow raiser for me. I mean he only ended playing 4 games for Melbourne were he was classed as being in a guest stint which doesn't affect the cap. Then the reports came out that his wage at NYCFC was around 60k. So it seems like there has been some front loading of his contract while he was at Melbourne.

As long as it isn't illegal I am not even that bothered about the City group exploiting the situation they have tbh. Wouldn't be surprised to see some rule changes come in over the next few years though when it comes to players being traded between clubs owned by the same people.

Wenger claimed it was an FFP dodge. That's so vague it's virtually meaningless.

It does seem there a bit of dodyness going on though.

Owning three clubs and 'loaning' players between them, especially when two of those leagues have a salary cap and the other involved with FFP, is going to raise some eyebrows.
