He was great in the qualifiers with assists and goals, along with Slimani. As soon as the pre-tournament friendlies and the tournament itself rolled around, he went missing.

Manchester United are a global force who have always had a spine of English players, but what happens when they only play and employ English players? My aim here is to dominate the English division with English players only. All non-English players and staff will immediately be sold and replaced with English players and staff.
I'll also be managing the national side, so any success the club receives should hopefully transfer to the national side. It'll be interesting how this works, having to pay the "English Premium" on players and generally only dealing with English clubs.

Anywho, 50pts by my count.
I can upload the save if needed (and someone can explain how), but I'll leave it saved on my hard drive for now

Good job man. How did you get on top scorer-wise? I'm halfway through the season and there's already a player with 28 in 18 playing for FC KOMU

So 5 games in, 5 wins. Suspiciously easy so far. I imagine the vultures will come circling if they play too well.

If I've worked this out right, 25 points?
An 11th place finish, which is in reality is disappointing. I had the team in a play off position, but suddenly hit a massive bit of inconsistent form, completely unable to string wins together.
Lewis Grabban as joint top score with 30 goals
A Fourth round FA cup exit to Everton
I brought in Alexander Isak on a free loan. Got me 5 goals in 16 apps. Nwakali from City was not much help.
A 1-0 rival win agains Boro. I also managed a 2-2 draw with Leeds

A quick mid-save update. All's going well with the team up to 13th. Got Man City as a senior affiliate so managed to get a couple of free loans to beef up the squad.

On the hunt for a senior affiliate, try and get some players in on free. There's literally no point in selling, I'll never get the finance back in the black.
Beat QPR 4-1! Everton in the next round

As I suspected, the step up in quality really isn't there in the Conference. I'm fairly confident of wrapping up the league and full concentrating on turning pro and having a crack at the football league.
I also had a great run in the FA Cup, reaching the third round and bagging £100k in gate receipts. John Rooney then decided I was good enough to play for and finally re-signed.

Cheers Dan. As you can see below, it's been a great start. The jump in quality isn't really there.
Another large(ish) turnover of players. Absolutely gutted to lose John (brother of Wayne) Rooney. He just would not sign a new contract and was an absolute monster at this level. I'm going to keep my eye on him and see if I can persuade him in the future. Richard Campbell on loan from Wigan is a real star of the future and I'm pretty chuffed to get him on loan. Ruairi Croskery is a real gem. Released by Man Utd and didn't make a single appearance for MK Dons at last season, I'm really hoping to bring the star out of the talent.
An amazing start to the season saw me win 4 on the bounce and has me in second. With a media prediction of 21st and a board expectation to avoid relegation, I am more than confident of beating both. Play-offs? Let's see
Kept a few core players on renewed contracts. Richard Tait had a great season at RB. Kabongo Tshimanga and James Poole both smashed the goals in. If I can get even half as many goals from them, I'd be happy. Joe Cracknell was kept in goal from last year, I probably could have brought in a new, better keeper, but I want to keep a strong core from last season.

As you can see, the season has taken a turn for the best. Just taken first position in the last game and second round in the FA Trophy. I would love to win both of these in my sophomore season. Richard Tait has proven and inspired signing and Kabongo Tshimanga and James Poole have knocked in 35 goals between them.
With a few clubs sniffing around some of my players, I would be a fool to turn down offers while playing at this level.

I'm not too fussed, I never imagined that I could get there on my first attempt so this gives me a great platform.
SEPTEMBER 2017
As is the norm at this level, a lot of ins and outs, as players are usually given one year contracts. I did give a few new contracts to some star performers from last season; Jamie Tank, Emanuel Kanteh, Luke Dobie, James Poole, Eoghan Stokes and Joe Cracknell.
John Rooney is the one to watch for me, signed on a free after being released from Chester.
A great unbeaten start to the season which sees me up in third already.
Reduced the size of the squad from last season. There was a lot of disharmony from players not getting enough first team action, so a smaller squad should hopefully be a happier squad.

Unless you edit the database or download one, you need to holiday the first season and hope they get promoted. Save on the 23rd as teams are all promoted on the 24th June

Cheers matey.
With a dip in form in October, I needed to sign a couple of extra players and tweak the formation to get moving. As you can see from the results, it's really worked out. I hoping to keep a playoff push by close of season.

Finally started stringing some results together. Was my early season slump anything to do with all those friendly losses?
#296287 dafuge 2016
Joe Boy
Pretty much the whole team needed replacing, Eoghan Stokes was quite a coup, as an ex-Leeds youth.
So I'm currently 14th, about mid-table, which is fine. I've turned into a bit of a draw specialist, forever going down and coming back.
