Appreciate your work! I always wondered what the situation with the 3 letter club names was. I was playin' around with the editor on 23, and I did my own kinda database and discovered this option. Currently, some of the club names are long and sometimes it feels odd. I'm doing a Barça save on the beta version, and it says “Barcel” and Granada is just GRN. In my home country, Germany, we have specific 3 letter short names for the clubs, like this:

 

  • FCB: Fußball-Club Bayern (München)
  • RBL: RasenBallsport Leipzig
  • BVB: Ballsportverein Borussia (Dortmund)
  • WOB: (VfL) Wolfsburg
  • SGE: Sportgemeinde Eintracht (Frankfurt)
  • B04: Bayer 04 (Leverkusen)
  • FCU: (1.) Fußballclub Union (Berlin)
  • BMG: (VfL) Borussia Mönchengladbach
  • VfB: Verein für Bewegungsspiele (Stuttgart)
  • SCF: Sport-Club Freiburg
  • TSG: Turn und Sportgemeinschaft (Hoffenheim)
  • M05: (FSV) Mainz 05
  • FCA: Fußball-Club Augsburg
  • BSC: (Hertha) BSC
  • DSC: Deutscher Sportclub (Arminia Bielefeld)
  • KOE: (1. FC) Köln
  • BOC: (VfL) Bochum
  • SGF: Spielvereinigung (Greuther) Fürth

 

and I was wondering if this could be included (as for other leagues as well) or what challenges this might bring in?
