Alian62 over on the Sigames forum has discovered a hidden stadium editor within FM21, while it is very limited it does help add an extra layer to the 3D match engine. I have had a play around with it and have decided to include some stadium edits within the adboard patch, original thread here: https://community.sigames.com/forums/topic/551501-stadium-editor

here are some examples

The stadium editor is accessed via the FM21 editor place the attached file into this directory in order to unlock it; C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2021\data

Once in the editor search for a stadium and access the new stadium sides panel. through this menu we can add and remove stands, set a stand to be a terrace or all seater and add or remove roofs. This is all we can do though, we cannot change stadium models/textures, add or remove tiers from stands, add boxes/tv screens or have stands at different heights and/or lengths.

From playing around with the editor I have the following observations:
When changing a stand, it works best to remove all details effectively resetting that stand to 0, then making your changes.
When editing a stadium the capacity of all 8 stands must match the actual stadium capacity.
Here is a map of which stand is which

I am prepared to take requests for these but it is strictly limited to 1 stadium per person, also please note as these are done via a datafile they are not save game compatible.

Before requesting be mindful of the following
Stadium models/textures cannot be changed,
The number of tiers in a stand cannot be changed
Boxes/tv screens cannot be added/removed
The height and lengths of stands cannot be changed

There is no reason why the video ads should not work, your system can handle video ads, I can see no issue with the file paths and the xml file works, I’d recommend a reinstall of FM to see if that fixes the issue, just be sure to back up any saved games etc

Hi Rab as the video add for target advertsing work i assume no issue with graphics card , so something must be interfering with the path in steam as it cannot find the codes . amy ideas? should i rust re install the game?

It looks like the issue is FM either cannot find the video ads or is unable to load them, however, they are installed in the correct location and you have tried playing about with graphic settings. Maybe it might be worth trying to reload the skin and turn off the cache under the skin menu in FM's preferences but in all honesty with that I am clutching at straws as I cannot understand why is it not working, as I cannot see any errors on your part

What match followed the friendly and which video ads showed in the first game?

it was a default targeted advertisement - Boowman or something like that - freindly at Orium hibs reserves stadium , next game was a home spl game

This has me stumped as I can’t see any errors, I’m assuming that you are playing on a windows system through steam?

Yes , so i moved my cache and preferneces folders out and started a new save , so on a inter freindly the ad boards worked , however on the next game they stopped working! - i went back to look at the reserves/freindly highlights and yes stopped working - it doesnt make sense unless the graphics card is playing up?

The xml file works so that’s not the issue and I can’t see any issue with your folders, the video ads are in the correct location. Can you provide a screenshot of your graphic settings within the FM preferences?

yes still no change - i was thinking on the Editor i ticked on the stadium the box that say has digital adboards, would that make a difference i have never had this issue before and coded stuff in FM20 with no hassle , also checked ID lists number incase changed but all correct , racking my brains. thanks for trying to help

I have managed to replicate your error, change this ‘SD’ folder to ‘HD’ and it should work

Within the preferences menu in FM21 ensure that match graphics are set to at least medium, but preferably high

i cant seem to get it working in FM21 - I have basicly copied and paste all the folders from FM20 over to FM21 and put all in the same directories / paths?

Any help appreciated
