You can't, FM needs to identify kits and where to place them.

Yes, place it in your 3D kit folder, making sure that your config.xml file contains the identical name as the kit. 

Simple, use the flutskin, there's nothing better !

Right click on the image and “save as”, then rename it to “liverpool_1” or whatever it's labelled as in your 3D kit folder.

It's simple, just edit the inc files after you start your new game and at any time after in your save game. I, for example refuse to accept the naming right to the FA Cup, so I changed it from “Emirates FA Cup” to “The FA Cup” long name and “FA Cup” short name. Cleared the cache, reload the skin, done. P.S. I also modified the logos.

The alts folder is included in the flutskin download and it's there for a reason. Flut has spent a lot of time compiling that file collection, in the hope it would reduce the number of times questions are asked and taking up his time. It includes many options to change the skin appearance. Check out number 22.

When people produce a lot of information to help with an installation, the least you can do is READ the information provided !

I'm frankly amazed that some are unaware about verifying game files and basic troubleshooting. These are must knows. Also, too often questions are asked when the answers have already been posted on these pages.

It's nothing to do with the skin, it's about omissions in your graphics folder, either the logos being absent or errors in your config file. Also make sure that the flutskin is the only one in your skins folder, then clear the cache and reload skin. If the problem persists, you need to return to your graphics/pictures/logos folder and correct any errors.

Toys for boys. A console will never have the flexibility of PC versions when it comes to add-ons/mods. Good for “shoot-em-ups” but not for simulators.

I agree, a new pack needs to be made but there are so many at it right now and some are not very good, so I lost interest and motivation. Maybe when time allows.

New Mitre FA Cup Match Balls (delete “Summer” from ball if that's your choice)

There's been a lot of noise on the Si forums regarding stuttering of the match engine. I'm affected too and I have a new high end PC. It's not as game changing for me as others have reported but it's a disgrace that I can run any current game/software out there at max settings with no issues, yet the relatively far less demanding graphical load of FM23 displays regular glitches. Si say they are working on it and as usual have suggested a bunch of workarounds and again, as usual none of which cure the problem. Stuttering match engine performance has been with us for every new addition from FM2018 but usually fixed quite quickly and often by the community. It's now been 6 weeks since the last update broke the game and still no answer from Si. What have been your experiences ?

It's a consequence of the files within the match/comps/eng/eur/ger folders which display differently according to the competition being played. Best that flut answers this one. Personally, I like the variation.

Almost all of what worked in FM20, also works in FM23, so I'm not sure why you're having a problem, providing you still have the relevant files. Obviously kits, logos and faces have been updated but the structure is the same now as it was back then. My static and video adboards still work fine, using the exact same setup as in previous versions of FM but are highly personalised due to create-a-club or pre-edited files. Also, I wouldn't upload data or files on here that might put the site at risk of censure or litigation. 

9 Euros, that's two pints of lager in the UK, so hardly a rip off for something that lasts for a year, not 45 minutes.

Or cut and paste, as I do, then you've no need to delete.

Another selfish one who wants everything for nothing and very likely never makes a contribution to creators !

Should it always be free ? Have you ever considered that the creators on here spend many hours, unpaid to create all the essential add-ons for FM. Have you ever made even a minimal payment to those that have a PayPal account where you can make a contribution ? I somehow doubt it !

I like the new layout with individual folders and configs. It gives one a choice of which packs to install. Great work.

Sarcasm doesn't help. Sorry mate but lazy people irritate me. They expect others to provide them with the info/links without bothering to find them for themselves when they are clearly available in the appropriate sections on the site. There's a fundamental difference between being helpful and responding to laziness. I found them easily and have comprehensive sets of 2D and 3D World Cup kits from this site.
