Btw, the latest version was named 'update 2' here, even though it should be named 'update 3', right? The file was also mistakenly named 'v2'. This may cause some confusion.

I'm trying to make the nation badges show up in the player screens like DaniCaliforniaPL. The topic you referred to is about getting small badges; the flags on the player screens aren't affected, it seems. I still see the Metallic flags.

I've tried to navigate to the large flag folder and change config to config_bak, but that just makes the flags disappear entirely; they're not even replaced with the badges. Instead, I get to see blank spaces.

Despite having years of experience with FM graphics, I can't seem to figure out what's going on. What do I need to do in order to fix this? Many thanks in advance!

PS: this issue occurred after applying the latest Metallic flag update. I somehow had the badges working before that. I tried reinstalling the pack entirely, but no joy.

Edit: I think I've fixed it. I went to the nations\normal folder and copy + pasted its contents to the flags\large folder (removing the original flags). I then edited the nations config file and replaced every 'team' with 'nation'. I'm not sure if this is best way to fix it, but it seems to work nonetheless.

It still wasn't fixed (or at least, not for me) after downloading the latest version Just go to the location of the Serie A folder and edit the contents of config.xml to:
