My take
They dont test correctly or very little
The staff involved in the editor development (dont think there are many)are not as good as they should be
SI dont really care about the editor
The later is my only possible explanation as I have engaged with SI for many years but its the same situation year in and year out and with many known/reported bugs going back years not being fixed
The staff dealing with the editor are really nice and knowledgeable so the issue is with SI no doubt it isnt a priority and never has been
The bottom line is there are many people who are excellent with the inner workings of the editor who have offered to Beta test the product before it is released....SI are not interested
This sums it up for me - lets take the IGE
FMRTE at last count have sooooooooooooooo many extra features than the official SI IGE ...enough said really

no I dont think so but as said if someone is accessing the site on Android they get to see the image without downloading so may be able to assist
PM me rather than sidetracking the thread with issues you have trying to upload the image pls

That is not the Pre game editor
suggest you ask your questions where you got the editor from, and you cant edit any of those rules with an IGE only with Pre game editor as I have fully explained to you
in future you need to start your own thread if it is nothing to do with the thread you are posting in
Also you clearly need to state the editor you are using its version and anything that is relevant to your question. Also you can post images directly to the post

so what I do take a screenshot of the error and then find this tab REQUIRED TEAMS - from there you can edit to remove the errors

Now removing Brexit is simple and the whole process should take a couple of mins tops....not so this year as the editor is buggy most nation throw out errors like this as SI havent set of the leagues correctly

So to remove Brexit same process to access A.R. for England
Find agreement edit/or remove it totally
If you want to edit work permits its via transfer tab
In Fm21 Editor SI have made it more streamlined and better to navigate in that you initially only see the Nation and its rules to switch to a comp use the drop down menu
Also I remove these additional rules found under Transfers, called additional helpers

after this you need to verify your changes to use the file in game[use test rules]
NB The FM21 Editor is currently bugged to hell and you cant even open advanced rules for Spain at this stage in fact most nations have issues so at this stage I am not doing any major editing and wont be until a fix is released. In the meantime look at the FM20 editor to have a look around for Spain. You can open advanced rules for most nations in FM21 to take a look but you wont be able to verify the file.

The second question was how to change the squad registration allocation from 25 to 30, again easily done
You need to go to the comp and find the general tab as we need to find the fixture rules index that relates to this competition
here we see it is Fixture Rule 0
So then close the drop down menu for the comp and open the Spain one this will show you the Fixture rule index/s for the nation
select the one you want and change the squad selection accordingly
NB in FM22 the way to find the fixture rules has changed slightly it is explained on page 2 of this thread

It can be daunting at first but the only way to learn is to have a good look around and take your time the best advice I can give is download a file that has changes made to it and see how it was done
So lets look at 2 issues raised in the forum today- How do I change the number of Subs(this can be done in basic rules but the second question involved using advanced rules so do both whilst in advanced rules)
Change Subs user wanted 7 from 12
Find the Comp you want to change
Find Stages in the Drop Down Menu
Then whatever stage you want to edit - Here it is a League
Then find league settings
Find the Sub rules and change
This year there is an extra hurdle as there are additional rules in place for covid-
They are under additional helpers and many comps have this added and the substitute rule may be changed just for one season in this rule
so be aware of this you need to change the sub rule here too
This rule will also show the new dates for the 20/21 season due to covid
