There are way too many pointless threads using big teams with which ANY tactic will bring success,

SI Forums are utter garbage with regards to tactics. Again it's "look at me aren't I good with Barcelona" etc.

Sadly I think how well or badly you Reserves/Youth team do are irrelevant.

I would however have liked to be able to create my own squads (like FML allowed) and decide which squad played in which competition.

You keep on trying to drain people out of every penny they have at times when financially it's tough and you're just inviting more piracy.

For me it's still just a data update.

The simple answer to your question is no. If an AI manager has 20's everywhere shouldn't he be dominating?

If you alter him to have all 20s using FMRTE then change his CA to 2,000 instead of 200 then his abilities will hold at 20. Now here's the interesting bit...

In a full detail League he will be just as useless as all the other managers but will dominate in a Division that you are NOT in that has "minimum detail" level. So clearly in a "minimum detail" level game his "current ability" becomes ultimately important and the biggest overriding factor.

There's nothing good enough this time around to warrant paying money for what is essentially a data update.

There is absolutely NOTHING included in FM14 that would make me want to part with my money. Sadly for the first time ever I'm going to give it a miss.

You can only really buy players over 48 months. Unless you get promotion the debt becomes a serious problem. The board won't release any money to spend until after the January window in the 1st Premier season.

There are however, lots of decent loans to be had in the second season.

I won't buy another FM. It's very samey and once you've become successful and can repeat it, it's very boring.

Another problem is the people at SI don't seem to listen. If you try to point out their game is not working how it should you get slated. If you point out the guru's of the tactics and training forum are over complicating the game with unnecessary stuff to look good the mods don't like it despite the fact you can prove it. They make money and that's an end of it.

So sadly I will not be giving SI any more of my hard earned money. Shame it's ended like this for me but everything ends.
