#771722 Realistic transfer values and attributes (v 0.9)
xbenjaminx
Open up your documents folder, there will be a folder called Sports Interactive, follow that through to FM24 and then you should have a folder called “editor data” - drop the file in there
#771720 FMRTE 24
xbenjaminx
3D Kit editor?
As for FMRTE it stands for Real Time Editor so no I wouldn't expect you to have to start a new save, should be able to edit as you go
#771187 I need a FM24 expert editor
xbenjaminx
I'll explore some possibilities for the various allocation in subsequent seasons, but the first part seems relatively easy to take care of. Like I said, I am working on a couple of other projects but I'm happy to give this a go.
#771185 I need a FM24 expert editor
xbenjaminx
Ok how well do you know the editor? Only because then I can know what level of explanation it needs. From what I remember it's under advanced rules editing and also continental rules editing. Only reason I ask for your knowledge base is I don't want to patronise you.

Feel free to drop me a message. I am working on some side projects too but should be possible depending on what you have in mind?
#768602 Unable to edit continent on Editor 2024

Also as for the workaround to the comp editor issue (sorry I only skimread before) just visit this link:

#768595 Unable to edit continent on Editor 2024
xbenjaminx
You can't add new nations directly, but you can reactivate and repurpose the inactive nations with a bit of work. There's 24 inactive nations you can work with but you'll have to go through each section of the database with a fine tooth comb to remove histories, cities people native to that place if there are any, and also remember to check the extinct stuff for each as nations like Yugoslavia and East Germany have clubs attached.
You'll then have to do some editing in nation rules to get it all working but it's not impossible. There are some good tutorials on YouTube, and don't worry if they're slightly earlier iterations of the game, the editor itself hasn't changed that much.
#768123 FM24 Real Name Fix File v4.1 [23/05/2024] - DOWNLOAD AND APPLY AGAIN TO FIX ISSUES CAUSED BY NEW UPDATE
xbenjaminx
I know this is mostly focused around competitions and clubs, but is there any way that currency name can be manipulated. I can add a new currency and set the exchange rate, but I can't name it so I'm wondering if it can be done either through this or through some other kind of workaround. At the moment it just does the thing where you type anything and it reverts back to default (or blank if it's new)
#767798 Trophies download
xbenjaminx
Honestly as long as it's in the graphics folder and the path name in the config is correct it will work.
If you haven't already, go into preferences and click ‘reload skin’
Also make sure you have the option about loading a cache unticked and it should work. Anytime you add any graphics you'll need to do this

Click the complete pack - it contains 447k+ files.
Should be a single click
#764164 FM 2024 FLUT skin dark - 10.0
xbenjaminx
It doesn't matter too much to me, I was just thinking for the purposes of fixes in future releases but thanks for the solution
#764159 FM 2024 FLUT skin dark - 10.0
xbenjaminx
@flut not sure if it's been logged with you already, but at top of the skin in the right corner under the skin support menu, ‘forum’ has a spelling mistake in it.
#763809 FM 2024 FLUT skin dark - 10.0

This is a great skin. I am curious though. What map did you use for the nation backgrounds as I have revived all of the dead nations (and have changed them) and would quite like to update the backgrounds to make them more uniform?
#763280 🛠️ Metallic Logos Technical Support Thread
xbenjaminx
Ok thanks for that. Only reason I was asking is because I am trying to understand the inner workings of FM and your packs have been the only place I'd seen them. I was also trying to figure out if I needed to include them in anything I created myself for my own game and so on.
#763235 🛠️ Metallic Logos Technical Support Thread
xbenjaminx
More than likely a stupid question, but the @2x logos in icons and flags, are they just for show or do they serve a purpose?

#760837 Data Updates
xbenjaminx
Hi guys,
I mean this with the utmost respect, but when I joined this site a few months back the data updates used to come out practically daily. I am just curious to know if and when that will start happening again for FM24? Like I said, I don't mean to disrespect as I know a lot of work goes into everything you guys do but I am just asking out of curiosity?
Thanks
#749471 Missing/wrong stadiums
xbenjaminx
Ok well two of the most useful tools I've found online are
https://fm-base.co.uk/threads/guide-to-creating-a-new-club.69939/ - I basically learnt what a lot of the different fields meant by reading through this although it's a little bit dated. My only real advice when creating stadiums is open Google Earth just so you can see the overlay of the city. This is useful because there's a field that asks you what the closest stadium to the stadium you're creating is.
Config files can be relatively easy to produce. If you look at one of the stadium packs on here, just adjust accordingly. The way I have my graphics folder set up for the stuff I create is I have everything relevant to the team I create in one folder as opposed to having to route through multiple folders for one club
https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/5k3l9e/the_history_of_naming_conventions_version_30/ I've also found this to be a very useful document. I create my own teams so knowing about a lot of the naming conventions used around the world really puts things into context. It also means that some of the names from other countries that sound a little silly, can turn out to not be that silly at all.
Finally my only other reccommendation would be to check the Steam Library and the various FM download sites (FMScout, FM Insider etc.) to see if anyone has done an in-depth version of the Czechia football league system. That may also save you a good amount of work.
#749360 Missing/wrong stadiums
xbenjaminx
That's fair. Give me a couple of days and I'll knock up a basic tutorial for creating the stadium from scratch.
Are all the clubs already in the game or will you be adding those?
#749248 Please help me with the editor.
xbenjaminx
The way I read that is that you've told whatever you're working on to use the competition Rossyskaya Primiya League (sorry about the spelling) and you've directed it to that competition and either, there are no rules in place for that competition or it means that the qualification thing you're working on doesn't know what you want it to do with that league. Maybe both.
#749247 Missing/wrong stadiums
xbenjaminx
Sure I'll look about and see what I can find. How basic do you need it to be? What level of understanding do you have of the pre-game editor, modding the game and things like that?
#749147 Missing/wrong stadiums
xbenjaminx
It might be a little bit of work, but have you considered creating your own data pack for Czechia containing the missing stadium information. Stadiums are some of the easier (and less time consuming) things to create within the game and I am sure other Czech players, or anyone managing in the lower leagues of Czechia would be grateful for your efforts.
#748375 women's databse for fm23
xbenjaminx
Yeah that's what I thought would happen. Would be ok for a few seasons playthrough.
#746942 i need help
xbenjaminx
There isn't one included in the graphics folder. You just need to create the files you need.
Create the graphics folder and set it up the various folders in the graphics folder for whatever graphics you wish. Most of the config files are generally formatted the same way.
#746891 i need help
xbenjaminx
I don't know what the rules are for recommending external software, but you should think about downloading a program called FMXML. It's a very good tool for beginners to create basic config files and covers faces, icons and kits (though you may need to tinker with the kits a little)
If you don't want to do that, then I suggest downloading one of the graphics packs from this website, unzip it and look at the various folders and configs there as there are so many different types of graphics you can use.
#746487 Football Manager 2005-2023 Database
xbenjaminx
It wasn't a criticism. It was a comment based on the addition of older players to the game. A lot of my favourites have retired. I just wish something like Masters Football (a small sided competition containing ex pros from various clubs or nations) was possible to bring to FM. Would be fun to give all those retired folks something to do
#746448 Football Manager 2005-2023 Database
xbenjaminx
Honestly I love the idea of nostalgia databases. It's honestly a shame we can't use the records of retired players to create the equivalent of something like Masters Football
#745103 women's databse for fm23
xbenjaminx
Great idea in principle, but can the game distinguish between male and female players or do you end up with inter-gender teams?
#744844 Retro Kits
xbenjaminx
Thanks I appreciate it. It's a shame that you can't change the GK kits too.
