Someone earlier in this topic said that .fmf files doesn't work for him, but .xml files do... i have the same problem... my FM reads .xml files, but it doesn't even "see" .fmf files
this is my editor data folder:

I had the same problem with my fmf files, after the 15.3.1 update was released. I fixed it by having an editor data folder inside the editor data folder. So it should look something like

... /Documents/....Football Manager 2015/editor data/editor data

Football Manager Skins

Football Manager Player Faces (4 Styles)

Football Manager Kits (4 Styles)

Football Manager Logos (14 Styles)

Football Manager Backgrounds (1 Styles)
