Strange, I downloaded the pack and have a Sunderland 3rd kit available. Here's the screen,

The Sunderland 3rd kit is in this pack. I don't have a proper template file to create the brandless Southampton 3rd kit, sorry.

The game won't overule kits that I've place in the graphics folder (incl. a config file), where there is already a standard kit set (that comes with the game) available ingame. For example in the Serie A. How can I overrule these kits? Is there some kind of extra file I need to disable?

Huge pack! If you combine styles from several brands... almost any shirt (historical or actual) can be made. Does take some time though

As a reminder of the good old days, and because Milan & Adidas have managed to produce even uglier shirts for the coming season than for the current 14-15 season.

Is it possible to (as a user of the skin) adjust the transparency of the skin (panels), like in previous versions with a slider?

Thanks for a future release! Without this skin, I probably wouldn't enjoy this game as much. The additional graphics (especially backgrounds) in combination with this skin are magic.

I second this request. Dortmund's CL kit looks better than their Bundesliga kit. I've tried to combine Puma stuff from the template pack in Photoshop, but didn't succeed.

Yep, you're right. Between matches, I have no issues at all. The game processes very fast, all graphics are showed perfectly. When I play like 5/6 3D matches on the highest graphic settings (5 star rating ingame for my videocard), the game eventually crashes (memory peaks are extreme)

I already bought a new graphic card to be able to show 3D matches in the best quality... now I also have to invest in more memory... pffff...

In the previous version, the 3D animations of players were way better then they are now. in FM 2013.. and I could easily run this game on the highest specs. Combined with the clumsy training system, extreme high demands in transfers of players and agents and the fact that SI again had to bring out a patch to make backgrounds visible (Why does this issue return every year? They know the community is hyped to add all kind of graphics... test it before the release!) .... this game is a little bit disappointing in relation to all actions you need to take to make it enjoyable.

Glad Tom Dixon never fails with the Steklo skin. Always a great addition!

I got the same error after playing a 3D match yesterday.

Bad Religion gave a solution on page 16 earlier. Here it is:

Delete the graphic.fmf files that are in the updates folders...

But you Extracted the kits first?
Or do delete in the config all the other teams and leave only siena and napoli.... but i think siena will not appear anyway since it is present in the graphics.fmf

I've edited the config file, deleted all command lines.. except the ones for Siena and Napoli. Worked for me..

The folder contains 3 default cup logo's (default, silver, gold) (all 180x180) I think they came with the Mega Logopack. (?).. bu I can't find them anywhere ingame though.

@ To Madeira: thnx for sharing. Maybe useful to mention that players & staff members can only be found ingame if you have the specific country/league activated. But probably most of the members/visitors already knew that.

Yep, good tips. I'm cleaning up AC Milan at the moment (no cash at all), but I'll put these on my short list next to guys like Destro and Mattia Perrin for the near future.

Yep, works best in combo with the Steklo skin. Make sure you follow the instructions TomDixon posted in his starting post of the Steklo skin topic to make the backgrounds visible.

Unfortunately, this works one time. If you keep playing the same game (load it the next time) FM will remember the ID etc. But if you start a new game, FM sets a new personal ID for your manager picture every time. So with every new game, I had to change the ID in the config file. 1 minute work, but still annoying.

Did you adjust the skin options in the Preferences menu, and reloaded the skin afterwards from the same menu?

As said, these are my folders (I'm using Windows Vista):

under pictures I've placed the faces and icons map from the megapack download
under logos I've placed all clubs/comps/confeds/default and nations folders with their content

Make sure that when you download these megapacks, you follow the instructions. Extract the downloads in the right order. The config files should be there also to make it all work.

Can't help you any further man. Or you should be able to capture your actions and post them on Youtube or something, so I can actually see what you're doing.

I would advise you to make some subfolders and place the different graphics there. Otherwise you'll eventually lose overview over your files. Especially when new updates are released.

If you right-click a config file from a download, and open it with your notepad.. you'll see how the command lines are build up. They all point to the graphics folder...

The graphics folder isn't there automatically. You have to create one in:
C:\Users\.......\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2013\graphics

You don't have to separate logos, faces, kits, backgrounds etc. in your graphics folder, but it's efficient if you do. I've created sub folders for backgrounds, kits, logos etc.You can extract your download to these folders. The config files that are included in the downloads have command lines which relate items ingame to your graphics folder items.

Ingame, on the main screen... go to Preferences, then check 'Interface'. There's a block called 'Skin'. Make sure the 'Backgrounds' option and skin reload option are checked. Uncheck the 'skin cache' option.

But as I said: explore the forum...

@ Laulund: minneapolisJon created a hell of a pack for FM 2011. Here's the link to FM view were his download section is still available (Can't find the FM 2012 section on Susie anymore)

I use the Steklo skin They also work with the default FM skin, though the transparency isn't there.

@ love_animals: I didn't test it in classic mode, before you asked me. I tried it quick with the Dutch Eredivisie and that background was visible. Make sure u have the latest patch installed from Sports Interactive (otherwise backgrounds won't work at all) and use the right skin (like the Steklo version for example)
