Again, this is incorrect. Some people find this confusing enough as it is, so best not to confuse them further 😉

 

As it stands, club name changes are only effected by the changes in the editor data file. If whoever downloads this file does so after having started a new game, I have input all the changes in the lnc file manually so that, in particular situation, users can remove the hashtags and see the changes in their existing save game, as per the workaround in the first post. The lnc as it is in the download is completely redundant in terms of club name changes, and it is only intended to be used by being edited if whoever is using it is apply the fix after starting a new game.

 

The intention is to have these files in place before starting a new game, and no workaround is needed then. Only if you install the fix after having started a career is the workaround needed. It's an either/or scenario.

 

Sorry man, you're a little presumptuous.

 I repeat that with the file club name changes in the editor data patch the subsequent club name's changes in lnc will not be visible.
Users can try this alternative and check.

Once a save game has been started, it is completely immaterial what editor data files are added, edited or removed. It makes no difference whatsoever, so might as well have the editor data files in place in case you forget to add them if/when you start another new game.

 

obviously the file “club change name” must be removed in editor at the start of the save, otherwise the clubs name's changes in “lnc” will not be visible

If you have already started a save-game and wish to change German, Spanish, Italian and French club names to the correct ones, there is a workaround. However, you will lose the club nicknames.

 

Open the City, Club and Stadium Names.lnc file with Notepad (on Windows) and TextEdit (on Mac). All the changes I've made in the editor data file are included in this file, however they are preceded by a hashtag (#) which makes the lnc file ignore any text following it.

 

You can remove the hashtags from in front of any of the "CLUB_LONG_NAME_CHANGE" and "CLUB_SHORT_NAME_CHANGE" codes which you wish to change, and this will ensure these changes are displayed in your save game.

 

For Notepad, all you need to do is: Select the edit menu, click the replace option, type #"CLUB in the first field and "CLUB in the second and click replace all. Then save and close. Shouldn't take more than 3 seconds if you do it right 🙂

Using an lnc
Pro: Can be used (and disabled) after a save game has been started

Pro: Retains club nicknames
Con: Needs to be applied before starting a new game

 

to ensure that the changed names are visible with a save already started, do not load the change name club file in the editor

I meant the templates by bolid74 changed a bit (expecially around the collar) from 20 to 21, since we got more insights in the UV mapping and so on. So we're creating kits now way more accurately than back then, meaning that newer kits will look better and the placement is 100% correct with newer kits that use the latest templates. Anyway, the placement on the kit above seems to be fine, so that is a mistake in the converter SS template for sure.

 

My outcome is a bit different to yours, I think you are using an older version of Photoshop in which you're not able to see the warping effects I added to the kits. In the spoiler below you see that the arms are already a lot more aligned, although still not perfect of course. Especially the logo is being warped like crazy.

Bear in mind that the FM20 and FM21 templates changed a bit; so it could be dislocated a bit. The SS template is - up until now - just a very raw sketchy idea or concept, the same way as the Standard Kit project started.

 

Spero che tu sia in grado di creare un paio di questi esempi e inviarmeli in un PM. Quindi sarò in grado di correggere quegli errori più velocemente. Mi piacerebbe mantenere l'argomento un po' pulito dai kit SS, poiché i kit standard sono fino ad ora l'obiettivo principale e la priorità.

How did you get the commentary on there? That was cool. I have the crowd chants patch, which adds some realism to the game. 

Also I like your team / player info pop-ups pre game.

I found the solution. deselect “FM20 Sortitoutsi Licenses Fix - Club Name Changes.fmf” in editor data! 

now all changes are visible.

I have changed a few names for teams that are in my career in the Italian 5th level. I checked that there are no duplicates but in game I see some teams changed but others not. This fact is really a mystery.

I have no idea why you thought posting this in the FM19 thread would be the right way to go about it 😕

If you have the editor data file in place before starting a new game, a club who has had a name change within it cannot be edited afterwards via lnc. It's just the way it works. 

 

I'm sorry for having the wrong section, but on FM20 I can change the names of the minor teams that are not included even during my save on the lnc file, except those already listed. It is not necessary to start a new game.

I have correctly followed the procedure but when I go to remove # by changing the name of a team I do not see the change. if instead I add a team that is not included in the list "City, Club and Stadium Names.lnc" I see the change. can someone help me?

I followed your guide and I was able to insert the strings for each team but I was asking if it was possible to insert only the banners for the fans in the integer string of the team (ex: from # 0 to # 20) while for subsequent billboards use those of the competition (eg: 5level Italian). unfortunately, This does not seem possible at the moment. (only static billboards).

Ho seguito le guide e sono riuscito ad inserire le stringhe per ogni squadra ma chiedevo se fosse possibile inserire solo gli striscioni per i tifosi nella stringa integer della squadra (ad es: dal n.0 al n.20) mentre per i cartelloni successivi utilizzare quelli della competizione (es: 5level italiano). Questo al momento non mi sembra possibile putroppo. (cartelloni fissi).
Purtroppo non è semplice spiegarsi in italiano figuriamoci tradurre con google, da noi si dice capire caxxi per palazzi.

is it possible to determine how many static banners are shown in the integer file for each team?
I would like to use the front row of the sideline for static banners league/competition and behind the static banners for the team fans.
Exemple: from 0 to 20 statics fans banners | 21 > 150 statitcs banner for minor league/competition (NOT video absolutly)
