Hi all, just installed FM24 tonight. Started a new game and the sidebar appears bright white? I have downloaded a new skin and applied it and the sidebar is still white. Is there any way I can get it normal colour? Many thanks.

I'm having trouble copying facepack files to ipad. I'm using macOS (Big Sur) and trying to do it via Finder. Unfortunately, it looks as if it does not make data transfer ... Facepack weighs 20gb and after an hour sends only 5gb .. (Using USB-C cable - Mac mini = iPad)

Smaller accessories, e.g. club logos and are thrown in without problems. How do you throw in? Do you also have MacOS + Finder?

I don't have to have all the guys because I care only about Europe, i.e. La league, Italian

If you are transferring 20GB sizes it will take many many hours. Maybe 5 or 6 hours. My whole Pictures folder is 26GB. I started the transfer by dragging and dropping Pictures folder to the iPad and then left my MacBook on for 7 hours while I was asleep. Came down in the morning and the transfer was complete.

Is anyone having trouble adding the folders to the iPad in Big Sur? Opened up the file sharing folder (now just Files) and it isn't letting me drop the new folders in under Pictures. anyone had similar issues?

There is already a Pictures folder in there. Is that to be used, or is Graphics still the root folder and then everything else inside that?

Just delete the Pictures folder already in there before you drag and drop your one over. I didn’t use any file sharing app, just open finder and then your iPad will appear on the left hand side when plugged in. Click on that, and then click on Files. Then expand Football Manager.

Ha yeah true, just something about the Champions Cup that really bugs me. Any idea what the reason behind inability to install name fix on FMT iPad is? Know it works for FMM on iPhones etc so surely not an iOS issue…? (Just out of interest)

Nah no idea mate. Just know it has never been possible.

Where I found best facepack for iOS iPad ?

Not possible to do the real name fix on FMTouch on iPad.

Best face pack is the cutout pack on here.

Thanks. In terms of the file directory, does it have to be in Pictures on my MacBook, or can I have it on an external hard drive (to save space) but in folders with those names?

You could have it on external HDD I guess, but would take even longer to transfer on to iPad from external HDD I fear.

Make sure Pictures (with capital P) is the main folder, then “graphics” inside that, and everything inside the graphics folder. They can also have more sub folders if you like to keep things tidy.

Then just drag and drop the whole Pictures folder on to iPad files under FM21.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't see all these new comments! My old laptop wasn't showing me anything after 2019. – although I can't find the link on that FM Korean site, just the instructions. Where do you download from?

Download graphics you want from here. Extract them all and then put in a folder called Pictures. Then drag and drop that Pictures folder to your iPad. Will take a long time to transfer if you have lots of graphics.

Hi guys, this might be a bit niche but I'll ask anyway...

I've made a cut out photo of myself to be my manager profile picture on FMT iPad. Removed the background so it's transparent and saved as a PNG. Imported to Apple Photos so it syncs to my iPad, also tried air dropping it directly to iPad but whenever it goes in my photos it adds a white background. Selected it as my manager picture but it has the horrible white background in FMT.

Does anyone know of a fix or workaround? Has anyone else had this situation?

I think it's because Apple Photos either can't handle PNGs or just adds the background itself?

Any help greatly appreciated!

did you do the full faces megapack?

i guess i could let it download all tonight and then transfer the following night.

i did the logos megapack which looks great and the kit packs from this forum. which kits did you use?

Yep full Cut Out Faces MegaPack and full Metallic Logo MegaPack. Then the stadium pack mentioned on page 7. Got FC’12 kits, just downloaded the packs that I wanted, mostly top European leagues plus England 1-6. Also got some 3D kit packs too.

its works for me with default skin, you need only to make a clear cashe, and reload

Thanks. Transferred 26GB worth of graphics overnight to my iPad. Did a clear cache in FM21 this morning, close the game, reopen and then it imported all the files. Took about an hour to import but all working!

yup worked a dream for me!

didnt bother with the faces megapack because its so huge, but i put premier league faces on - hoping there will be other packs for some other big leagues.

got all trophies, logos and kits on there for now

Excellent, great to hear! So do you keep it on the new skin you select or go back and select the default Football Manager Touch skin?

Ok, I have some faces but not others I’d expect like Harry Kane...? Maybe the pack I got isn’t that good. I don’t have loads of free space on my iPad so does anyone know of a reasonable size pack that contains most English league faces?

Aha I have managed to sort it! Had to add a skin and change to skin which forced the game to reload the cache. I'm guessing there's a problem with the in game clear cache button.

It works them all in separate folders, faces, logos, kits etc

Makes it easier to update if you change anything, and makes reloading the cache quicker

I really can’t get my logos kits or faces to appear in game. I’ve attached a photo of my iPad FMT structure. I think I’ve done it right. So in the Pictures folder I’ve got sub folders of logos, kits, faces all in lower case.

I’ve done the clear cache in game and quit FMT app and opened it again but still new logos etc do not appear.

Any help greatly appreciated!
