What's changed in the 27th August update? Is the Lowland League split into East and West?

Is this part of your 13-tier fantasy pyramid?

Will you be including the proposed revamped Lowland Leagues and lower divisions that come into effect in the 2026/27 season?

Not sure if it matters much in the sense it hasn't caused a crash, but I noticed when simming a career after various graphic updates and installing the latest data update, that Celtic B have ended up relegated via the Lowland League and still competing in 2027 in the WoS Premier. Hearts B seem to have ceased playing in the Lowland League in line with current expiry of that arrangement. Just thought to let you know, as don't know if the rule can exist that would mean neither B team could be relegated in the same way they can't be promoted? I guess that on the rare occasion this happens they are then stuck in the lower leagues forever rather than only being able to play in the Lowland?

 

Not sure there would be any potential longer term issue if other teams kept getting relegated into the WoS (in terms of max team allocation for those leagues).

William, if/when you do a major update, is there any way you can make the route of the Highland amateur leagues progress into the North Caledonian rather than go up through the West of Scotland and into the Lowland League? Maybe switch the three Caledonian and three Highland leagues. I'm Highland & Island obsessed, and love starting in the 13th tier.

Just noticed that in the WoS Division 1, one promotion/relegation has been missed. Vale of Clyde should be in WOS1, and Whitletts Vics in WoS Division 2.

Thanks again for these. I am using the real file, and when I went in to apply promotions and relegations in the regional leagues, the editor gives an error when verfiying which is specific to the SPFL reserve league. It says 9 teams are required when only 8 exist, but there are 9 teams listed in the league. 

 

It isn't anything I have adapted, as all I have actioned is things like swapping Arthurlie and Drumchapel. 

 

Any idea why that might be the case?

 

I managed to get the file to verify by changing the minimum number of teams required from 9 to 8, but not sure what would have caused the issue or if changing to 8 will impact the save.

Hi William, I was an international student from the University of Aberdeen and now want to coach the University of Aberdeen football team. I have found it in FM2023 by using The (Real Life) Full Scottish Pyramid , where can I find it now if I want to coach UoA team in FM2024. Thanks.

Hi William, I can see it is added in the editor but when i start a save it is not in the game? Holiday'd a full season with Brechin and the cup didn't take place. Any ideas?

Hi William, I have downloaded your real pyramid system and am looking to start a new save, however it seems the highland league cup is not included in game? The lowland league cup is included but not the highland. Do you know why this may be? Cheers

Also finding that perhaps again linked to changes with the way the B team are setup, the squad screen when Celtic has loads of options missing.  It isn't skin related as far as I can tell and doesn't replicate if game loaded without this file. It only shows me Overview and International, but not tactics, players etc. as normal. Could it be linked to B team changes and how it draws information around both? Also noticed the U21 (B Team) has no players at game start. All players either go to the Main squad or U18. 

 

Are you or know anyone creating Scottish League System for FM24  but with different Structure  SPL - 16 Teams, and Champ, L1, L2 - 12 Teams?

not sure if a database bug or a save issue, however the Scottish Cup just doesn't begin in the second season. It gets to the date of the draw for the Preliminary Round then when you view the competitions tab it states that the draw is the next day, and every day you sim to it just tells you the draw is the next day. I've just went past the day the second round was supposed to have been played and there's still been no draws made or fixtures.

 

I'll continue on into the third season to see if it is just a bug for the season or not.

Hi William, absolutely love your database, just a wee problem I have. I wanted to change a team name from Gairloch Aultbea Utd to Poolewe United and add a new player i.e myself, unfortunately when I go to test the rules it gives me an errors in number of teams in leagues, for example. Require 12 teams for cinch Premiership, found only 20 and there's another 12 more leagues in the error list, like require 8 teams for Scottish U18 Elite League, found 0. Is there a way round this to get it to accept the rules just for changing a team name and new player. This is a brilliant database and just what I was looking for, I used to play for some of the teams from the Skye league. anyway would appreciate any help on this.
