Hi, I'm using the paid Classic FM files and would like to use them in tandem with an English lower leagues data file. Given that clubs in the lower leagues have been updated, I assume this is possible, but FM prevents me from loading the files together as ‘Only one file for England can be selected’. Honestly I'm not sure why England comes up in the nations/continents column while others (like Denmark in the screenshot) don't.

There is a E20 lower league update 24-25 file which will work if you uncheck England League file

If Murillo was at Leeds in the current version of FM as dictated by the current update (created by the game makers), say you loaned him in, he would be Leeds' fifth ranked central defender. This despite being a Premier League club's player of the year last year and having not regressed this year. Clearly something is wrong if the AI is listing him for loan for lower clubs when Transfer Market has him rated as Forest's best player as well, the 17th most valuable Brazilian player in the world and the 27th most valuable centre back in the world.

A simple Google search will reveal all the transfer news about him.

Regarding Wood, the AI will never play him over Awoniyi which is an anomaly too.

the AI is a poor area of FM I’m afraid

maybe FM26 may get it right (based on 25 never happening)

Just redownload and reinstall and delete ‘italy.dbc’ in the data/database/db/24**/dbc/permanent ?

I just deleted the files and restarted the game with the update works fine and logos are good too

Boys, I wouldn't say I'm terrible at the game or say I don't know what I'm doing but I'm currently managing Farsley as they're local ish to me and have just been promoted to the championship in 5/6 years I think. What I struggle with is finding players to make the step up, I don't know if this is controversial and needs a VAR check but I'll have multiple save files as I progress through the transfer window and then go back to the first save file and shortlist all the players I've found that I like the look at because my scouting is trash although the scouts aren't bad I'm probs not utilising them the best (I tick assign any scout). Someone help me out on how to make my life easier because this process is so annoying and very frustrating. Nice one.

Are you linked to Leeds, if so take some u18s on loan, a few like Harry Gray, Oliver Boast and Will Alker are good enough at the start of the game for league football.

if you are 5 years in I would target Scandinavia for new players and adopt a 4231 formation, I did this playing as my local team Garforth, found some cracking players in danish youth teams for example

im not convinced the quality of scout matters that much, more the reputation of the club
