That's pretty damn slow, granted

It's not the case when I copy or move my Megapack folder on Windows Vista. It takes me a good hour or more, mind you, but given the amount of files and total size, that's to be expected. I might be talking out of my arse here, but perhaps the relatively small amount of space left on your HD might affect the speed of your data transfer.

I haven't explained myself well, sorry, I had no problem in moving the folder itself, just in moving the files from that folder, like when I need to replace/delete the single images. I have 20GB left so I don't think it's a matter of HD space (and besides, it only happens with that folder). Now, the only thing I could think of is I haven't indexed those files because I felt it was a waste of time.
Thanks for replying anyway, I know having Windows won't let you help. Let's just hope some Mac user reads this. ^^

I'm afraid I'm using Windows Vista so I can't really help here. How slow are we talking, though?

Like "7 hrs for 150MB" slow. It appears to happen only when I delete/overwrite the files from the main folder (Megapack 6.0).

Whenever I try to move the files from/to your 6.0 Megapack folders the transfer goes extremely slow on my Mac, with Finder using 100% of my CPU. Anyone else experiencing this? It only happens on that folder.
I have Mavericks installed, 4gb ram, 20gb free space on my drive
