Yes, I too have noticed that. When the player is clean through on goal, he can easily chance to score or square it to his team mate to score, but decides to try his luck with a blasting shot that hits the side netting. It seems to happen more from the left winger, or left hand side though.

Another thing that gets my goat in the match engine is when the ball has run free and is going to go out of touch, your player runs after it, like he should do, but if he does end up stopping the ball dead, he goes past the ball in an action that really would actually happen (which is good that SI have implemented in) .....but by him doing that, the opposition player is then freely able to just take the ball, so in affect you have only stopped the ball to give the opposing team the possession. It's as if the player whose stopped the ball can't react quick enough to turn round and collect the ball. This same thing happened in FM19 and 18, and I thought that SI would of made it that sometimes when any player stops the ball from going out of touch, then that same player keeps possession for his team (just Sometimes).

No, not tried changing the graphics skin. As for the screenshot of the graphics where I've put the faces in, I've not got my laptop with me at the moment so I'll send you them later on when I'm on the laptop. But I'll first try swapping to and from the default skins to see if that solves the problem.

Thanks for getting back so quick over this. Yes, I saw that the preference screen had changed since all the other FM's, so I had already done what you have advised in your reply, but it didn't work. So I'm still baffled by why it won't work.

I have downloaded FM2020 beta version which i'm over the moon about. But I have a major disappointment in that I've downloaded the faces mega pack and put it into the graphics folder after creating the graphics folder. The problem I've got however, and I don't know if its a bug in the game, but in the preferences screen when I've cleared the cache, there is no reload button in the bottom right hand corner to reload the skin like there is in all the other versions of FM.

I have done the steps exactly like I've done in previous FM games when I'm adding player faces/logo's etc, but normally in the preference screen there is a reload button to reload the skin after you've cleared the cache. This is so frustrating as the game is not the same without seeing all the player faces. I've been on YouTube and seen all the Bloggers having all the faces implemented into the game who are using the beta, so I don't understand it. Like I said earlier, I've done everything the same as I've always done to put all the extra faces and logos in, but on this preferences screen there is no reload button.

Could you please help me out and let me know why the reload button is not there? Thanks. I've double checked my graphics folder and all the player faces are in there, so I know its a problem with the preferences screen. Plus what normally happens when you clear the cache, it goes back into the game, and then you've got to go back into the preferences screen and click the reload button on the bottom right hand side, then you know it reloading the skin because it takes a few seconds or around a min as you wait for the skin to be reloaded.... well that doesn't happen on this preferences screen, when happens on this one is that when I clear the cache, the screen game screen just flickers in the background and the preferences screen just stays on the screen when its supposed to disappear. I know what the problem is, its because there is no reload button on the preferences screen.

Is this a bug on the preferences screen? Because its so annoying as I've spent £35 to get the early access to playing the beta.

Hi. Could anybody tell me why I have not got "CLEAR CACHE" on the preference options? I've installed all the player faces into my faces folder on FM19 touch, but when I go back into the preferences sectionin the game there is no option to clear the cache. It is so frustrating!!!!! . I've added player faces on other FM games on the PC version quite easy, just like I've tried on this tablet version, but can't seem to do it as there is no option to clear the cache and reload. Thanks.

Hi Flut. Can you tell me why the main picture in the top middle is missing completely from the player profile screen for every player? In The Beta version it is fine, but with the 1.0 version it completely disappears. I Like all the other changes to the skin, but it's very annoying that there is no big main picture for player profiles. Can you help me out? thanks.

Hi Flut. Thanks for telling me how to change the colours of the players stats using the settings file. But the problem I have now is that when I've clicked into the settings file, when I've scrolled to the part of the file and the numbers that I need to alter, I can only highlight the numbers but not input new ones. It's like the lines are blocking me from changing them. They can be highlighted, but you can't do anything to change them eg....I can't delete the numbers that are already there!. So it's great that I know where to go to change the numbers, but still so frustrating that I still can't change them. Could you please explain why I can't change them? Thanks

I really like both (dark and normal) Flut skins, but why is it that I can't change the colour of the player profile stats in the colour editor?? Or that it shows up that it's changed on the editor page, but when I reload the skins, the colours have NOT changed on the player page....eg, they are still in Green and Pink in the Dark Version of Flut?? this is very frustrating, and its like there is a glitch in that part of Skin. I've tried to re-download it again, but I still have the same problem. Could you tell me what the problem may be for Both skins?
