Sorry but his weekly wage gives me cringe,i live in Portugal and also support Benfica and his salary will be 5 million euros per year(gross) wich results in a 89k pounds for week,this is his REAL salary as he his Benfica's best paid player.

Guys,i have no idea about his contract lenght so my guess would be 3 years,but his currently doing medicals at Espanyol and the transfer will 99% happen,his wage will probably remain the same and Benfica will profit 2,5 million euros(if objectives accomplished) taking in consideration he was bought for 20 million in the summer.

yep 100% accurate.


2,5 million per year its his yearly taxed salary, his real gross salary is 5 million per year, FM itself usually says the salary after tax so it would be more realistic if he was on a 5 million year deal.

Guys for some reason or another i cant send you the proof link?? it says it is invalid, but weigl's contract will 99% be this one on this website:

this means weakly wage of 88160(88k) and 5 years and a half worth of contract. Benfica also confirmed this transfer on their site obviously not showing the contract details,medicals are NOT done yet but its happening for sure in the next days.
