Financial updates will be coming shortly now the window has closed and I can properly look at teams finances and spending.

Now the transfer window has closed bigger updates will be coming, as is traditional each year.

Still working on the most viable and stable way to do it, unfortunately it is the bigger teams people will want to play that are causing the problems, not the smaller ones you could probably get away with not changing where they caused issues.

As the finances will be tweaked as the window comes to a close it is worth having a thread here for people to report take overs, new sponsorship, debt issues etc.

Europe will unfortunately need to wait, due to changes it is currently very buggy and not working properly, at the moment it keeps entering random teams rom Albania into the group stage for no obvious reasons.

It will be done in the next few days, fear not.

A further update will be forthcoming and updates to leagues will be ongoing throughout the summer. Alexander, I will do my best but it may be beyond me to alter who is entered into the Chekatrade Trophy unfortunately, that isn't a simple switch.

Belgium, Denmark and Spain updated in most recent upload. Please note Segunda B is awaiting confirmation of allocations and for some reason the game is not allocating the teams in the 2. Division in Denmark who were promoted into it so far in tests.

Thank you for all the information, I have returned from my holidays now so each upload should progressively become more and more accurate.

Whatever can be modified without too much hassle will be, some things may be beyond my skills.

I haven't touched the WCC at all, that the game is selecting random teams isn't something I've really been able to find a fix for.

Yeah don't give us an editor if it's going to break the game, main reason it's there is to make updates every summer cos they release 1/3rd of the way into a season and don't give us official ones, I get they can't guarantee or...

The competition should just take the last winner of the CL, which is Real whether they pick 2017 or for some reason 2016, not entirely sure what it's issue is.

This is correct, if I took Bastia out of the National the league will break due to not enough teams.

They're in the Club & League Changes file as they fell most suitably under the Clubs heading.

It hasn't been reported and there is no reason they should be in it as the game uses the winners of the respective competitions, which is set as Real Madrid for Europe.

The update and any files I produce aren't, and never will be, intended to be compatible with any other files. I'm sorry if some changes I made to kits as and when I saw them come out haven't been completed to the standard you'd like...

I'll likely tweak other leagues too yes, priority was the "big five" as that is where most of the money is which has a big impact on the big transfers AI will go for etc.

Finances are now updated in the Club & League Changes files for England (Football League), Spain (Top two divisions), France (Top two divisions), Italy (Top two divisions) and Germany (All playable divisions).

For others reading this, the data update is large, one older computers with less power it will take time to load, longer than the base game will.

The file "promotions and relegations" should be deleted, it isn't needed as the Club Changes file contains promotions and relegations for the update, you don't need to keep it.

Yes they will be changed, but not today as I am out until 4am, I'll work on it on Saturday. French Ligue 1&2 and German league tweaks have just been added to the update.

As somebody who has been doing data updates for over a decades this has always been my standard practice, as the contract is for four years, if you put 21 in this edition it'd be for 5 seasons, which is in accurate. It'd be nice if SI let you...

Cymru is correct, finances won't be touched until the window closes, if I do it early inevitably some teams will not get done properly when some obscure transfer happens I'm not aware of, it's easier to do when the business is over.

League changes need to be done with the league editor which is not something I'm familiar enough with unfortunately, just for any body else who posts in the thread at slight inaccuracies caused by changes to overall structure/numbers.

Unfortunately no changes to league structure will be possible with the update I'm afraid.

The continental competitions are being done slowly as it breaks very easily due to differing structures between this season and last.

Completed and uploaded, should be in one of the automatic releases in next few hours.

For the record, use of any non official data update files (like league expansions) has no guarantee of compatibility with the sortitoutsi.net update, they can and do conflict with it.

You're using a file called promotions and relegations which is no longer in the Data Update, it is conflict with the file "Club Changes" which features promotions and relegations.
