Aye, circumstances have changed with my sister becoming pregnant so I've offered to move out and give her my room in about 9months when it's due.

You're about the same age as me I think, I've got a mortgage, it's doable, especially in the north-west.

Yea I'm 25, it's about time I left the nest. I'm just questioning how long it'll be before someone complains about all the parties and orgies

Fair enough. That'll be me in a year's time once university is done and dusted. I really want to stay in Brighton but I've slowly began to realize it's just too expensive. Need to enter the real world and find a job.

I've been looking into moving out too. I reckon with my wages I could live by myself quite easily in an okay area but I'd rather live with a mate just now, simply so I'd have more spending money. Splitting the rent would work and we'd probably be able to live closer to the city centre. The problem is, all of my friends are either at college/uni (not earning enough to move out) or is unemployed. None of my close mates have jobs... (bar one, but he moves to South Korea tomorrow!)

I'm 24 and just about to remortgage after 3 years. Just make sure you have a decent deposit and don't stretch yourself too far. I can borrow much more than I am doing at the moment but it would make my payments nearly impossible to meet. Make an appointment at your bank/building society and they can talk you through your options/rough costs etc, then you can look around for the best option for you.

Unless you get a second hand one, nowhere. Because Apple.
For an 8GB one, the cheapest you'll get it is probably £130. Had a quick look and that's about what Argos and Amazon have them going for so yeah.
I used to have one by the way, not sure how worth it it is. You don't get an internet connection unless you're connected to WiFi which defeats the point of a lot of iPhone apps. It is the best mp3 player on the market mind, but yeah. I get just as much use from my Nano I have now than my Touch when I had it.

I got one of the classics pretty recently. For the size they're pretty reasonably priced, the few that are a similar size have hit and miss reviews.

I don't know about any of the other models though.

Terrible value for you maybe. I happily paid £200 for my iPod classic nearly 3 years ago and it still works perfectly despite me using it practically every day since.
