Can I use a current player database on an old version of FM?

I've been happily playing FM13 for the last 5 years and I love it. I finally decided it was time to treat myself to a newer version mainly because the players were so outdated. I got FM18, gave it a good go, played through a full season, but for one reason or another I just don't like it. I want to go back to playing FM13 but with an updated player database.

Is this at all possible? and if so is there a guide anywhere.

You'd have to find somebody who kept updating the FM13 database with the latest transfers, staff movement and creation of youngsters. To be honest, I'd be very surprised if you managed to find something like that...

Thanks for the reply. Looks like I'll just have to persevere with FM18 and hope I grow to like it.
