Why are my video adboards are black?
This issue here is down to what I believe is a bug in the game. In FM17 when clubs had no video adboards assigned to them they loaded static adboards into the video adboards slots instead, for some reason FM18 is not doing this and just displays dead video adboards, the below image shows the difference between FM17 & FM18

The static boards for fulham need a small tweak

I assume it's meant to read 'History will be made in Black and White' as one continous adboard

Here is an updated league board for Indonesia Liga 1 I found on my journeyman save. The former GO-JEK Travelonika Liga 1 is now Shopee Liga 1. The metallic logos were updated and I changed the league name with in-game editor but the wrong ad boards annoyed me so I made a new one myself.

Here is another version I think I like more. When two of those earlier boards are next to each other there are too many league logos. Choose yourself.

Here I added some wear to the ends. Looks pretty nice when two of these are next to each other. If somebody has that ad board template that has a wear and dividing line in the middle of the board that has been used in the older boards please link to it. I could not follow any of the links I found on this forum.

Just curious if anyone has had this issue. Have the adboard patch installed on my MacBook Pro. I added some video ads to clubs who had video advertising (but not the code in the xml file), to prevent the blank video hoardings. Typically everything works fine. However, it's doing a weird thing where the colors are all reversed. The video boards are presented in pastel colours that seem like the colour negative. Not sure if there is a glitch in how I coded some of the tweaks. If I restart the game (exit out of FM completely and start up again), everything is great. However, the next match that comes up, the ad boards start green in the match start up screen then run as pastels/negatives in the match. I have to restart to get them back to normal.

Hello,

To begin I am French, excuse my English "google translation."
I play with RC Lens (French team). I install patch 1.0 and update 1.1 following all the instructions. (I started again 3 times). I even reinstall Football Manager !
I also install the "bidstack enabled" document in the "version 3" file, blocked the targeted ads on FM & configure my firewall to block incoming traffic. And still nothing. I'm going crazy.

When I play at home or at another stadium, I have FM default dynamic adboards. (Prostate Cancer, Help, Center Point, Bidsatck ...). When I watch a match in replay in other clubs, the adboards work perfectly.

I missed a step ? I said that I looked several forums hoping to find an answer. Nothing.

My computer broke on me about 6 weeks ago and I don’t think it’s fixable, I’m hoping to at least be able to salvage the hard drive. Currently I can’t afford a new computer so I have no idea when there will be any new content from me. I will try and answer all the above questions during the coming week as I have a bit more free time now after what has been a very busy time of year for me.

So sorry to hear about your computer, mate. Your adboards have been tremendous and have really made a difference towards a more realistic match atmosphere! I really appreciate your work on them, especially since I don't have the needed programs or know-how to do something like that myself.
Hopefully you'll be able to sort out the computer issue soon and dive back into the world of Football Manager. And hopefully, at some point in the future, you'll have the time and interest to create or help others create yet more awesome adboards.

Well, i have problem. I still have default ads in my game instead of yours and i done everything you said in read me txt.
My Steam instalation is on D , so can you tell me, do i need to copy your steam folder to D maybe?

I now have my computer issues sorted and I am able to begin making adboards again. I won't be making any video adboards for a few weeks yet. in the mean time I'll be producing ultra banners for some European clubs and updating some Scottish Clubs. My aims for FM20 will be to update the English Premiership and French Ligue One video adboards along with creating generice video adboards for the Bundesliga, La Liga and Serie A.

I have also created a video guide on how to install the patch which will hopefully anyone who is still having difficulty with them.

The billboards will only work in HD, that is, in high graphics. We can solve it by creating a folder called "SD" replacing that of "HD" in the event that our PC cannot work with high graphics.

im getting the black adboards, i think i am making something wrong, i think is something with the xml files, i only have to move the two folders with the other xml and leave it there and do nothing? And i have downloaded the version 1.0 the fix and 1.1, i have to install first the first version, then the fix and last the 1.1 version or only the 1.0 and 1.1 versions?

Try renaming the 'HD' folder containing the video ads to 'SD'

I will try, and the XML files, i should replace with the one i want from one xml file from the folder clubs or the no clubs and paste it in the ads folder that are this 2 folders and the other xml files, (sorry for my english im from argentina)

In the Football Manager preferences menu make sure the graphics quailty for the 3D match is set on either high or very high, otherwise the game wont load the video ads

My plan for FM20 will be to try and 'fill out' some leagues where boards are lacking (Ireland, Northern Ireland & Holland spring to mind)
I will also be looking at all League 1, League 2 & National League teams in England and posting updated boards where necessary
