Thanks alot, I know @wfm18 was also looking at contributing some design ideas via Figma.

Great analysis @krissmed, some very valuable feedback on a lot of UX/UI related things.
I guess it would be great to collaborate in some certain way on how we can improve certain areas 🙂 I'll also provide some stuff later this week in this topic.

@Footygamer Could you make a changelog for the pages that have been updated (or created) from now on? It would help a lot with keeping the design up to date with the website. You don't need to say exactly what has changed, but just to let us know that a site has changed.

Hi, will there be a dark mode for the site? Working on the site at night is very tiring.

It's something i'd like to do but haven't had the time unfortunately. It's unlikely this will be done before FM23.
Just stumbled across this page by accident, a lot of people probably don't know it exists.

Maybe add it to the menu bar? I don't know if the same thing exists for the cut-out facepack contributions, but it would be nice to add visibility to these kind of things, in order to create more of a community feeling.

I can't remember why I hide it to be honest, I think possibly because it was so slow. It'll be much slower to load at the end of a cycle when there's alot more submissions. It could be fixed to only update every week or something though and then promoted again.
Maybe an idea to filter the notification page as well, so it shows something like: ‘15 notifications, 14 of which relating to graphic items and 1 comment'
Because if you do a lot of graphic submissions you sometimes have hundreds of notifications when logging in, and it's easy to miss a comment tagging you if it's hidden in between those.

This has been on the todo list for a couple of years. It's a little more complicated than you'd think which is why i've never gotten round to it, maybe I could make some smaller improvements in the mean time.
Can this bit be changed to ‘Game History'? Would make more sense to me

@Footygamer I think it would be a great idea to add the 3d kits project to the main screen/front page under Football Manager Graphics.

I don't think ESS Logos belongs there. Nobodies really managing it right now, it's a mess of a single images uploaded as downloads.
3D kits can go on there that would have just been an oversight from me.

Is it possible to have the text box remember what you type if you leave the page? I keep accidentally hovering over the menus on the top and side of the site and sometimes accidentally hit their pop-ups while scrolling on my laptop's trackpad. This caused me to lose everything I had written in the input box. I very nearly gave up writing. I know many other forums save what you have written as a draft in the text box, so even if you navigate away from the page, you can go back to it.

Having the contract role displayed with the person's name when browsing images on a team would be very helpful.

Would it make sense to add a “Reserve/Lock Team” button for Background and Stadium Packages? Sometimes, when the package limit is reached, another user can upload for the team I am working on, which can overwrite or conflict with my work (or vice versa).

@Footygamer Not sure if this is the right thread, but could we implement something as mark as unread on private messages? I read them, then never return to them sometimes because I forget. I get multiple messages daily, although I am a heavy user of Sortitoutsi

Well for (1) ideally you wouldn't get multiple messages a day, I try and encourage people to keep things in public forums as much as possible so that others can easily join in and ease the burden or take over should someone involved disappear.
But (2) yes i've added this to my todo list.
