Hello Dan I am sorry to hear that please excuse me for bothering you when your unwell. the answer to your question is yes you find your sports interactive folder here Open Finder.
- Click the ‘Go’ menu in the menubar.
- Press and hold down the ‘Option’ (Alt) key.
- Click the ‘Library’ item in the menu.
- Go into the folder named ‘Application Support’ then ‘Sports Interactive’
- Click into the ‘Football Manager 2022’ folder if it is not

if it is not there you need to find it on your mac copy or drag it into your appdata i think this may be your problem after all this where everything is stored. if it does not work i will continue to find a solution I am an early riser 4am every morning and I am on it as soon as i have had my coffee 😂 please let me know after you feel better good luck my friend keep in touch

im only a early riser with having a little one waking up early!

but coffee is a must.

i think I dragged  it into the application folder but that did t work either.

might need to send you another screenshot to see if I've done it right.

also made room in the c folder as welo

Thanks dan om goodness you have a little one boy or girl so being awake early is a nailed on 😂😂 I wake early as I have just retired and still not use to late sleep 25 years on nights I think my brain as forgot how to shut down

I have a little girl at the moment 8 months old

i am hoping to get her in to the way of gaming one way or another lol

I find that if you are young is best to speak to the people that have experience in life you learn a lot that way.

its a great feeling being a dad, you just need to love every moment it can go too fast, all you need to do is blink and they are adults.

I have attached a screenshot is this the app data you mentioned?

Think I added the sports interactive folder but that does not seem to work either

Is there anything I need to do in the c folder of the parasols desktop unless there lies the issue?

Hard to know what to do really not many people have this issue.

Dan did you try the windows restore version for me. Football Manager automatically creates a backup save. Within your save game folder there should be a file called ‘last save overwrite backup.fm’. This save will be a copy of the save game you last saved over. Please try this save to see if it loads. Have you tried this I would imagine you have already

sadly Andy that did not work, when this first happend I deleted the save game files.

That is correct.

the only save games I have ate on the iCloud and cannot load them.

and cannot save a new game either 

think I need to bite the billet and buy a new mac

they are too expensive

only other thing it could be is the c drive

i did ask sega and they said the following

with using Windows on a Mac system, for which the game has not been designed and we can not officially support you with. It seems that the game or the system does not recognise the path for the save files, thus you are encountering this issue.

Spot on yes

Dan can you check that your anti virus what ever that may be as not started to block it

this can happen after a failed save. But dan if that was the case you would not have been able to save from the start

Go to System Settings
- Select Privacy & Security
- Select Full Disk Access, click the + and authenticate
- Go to Applications, Football Manager 2024, then click "Open".
- Ensure the button is over to the right next to FM24 in the apps list to indicate it allows full disk access dan please try this for me

Ok Dan I found this also  

Try saving to to a different location. By default you should be saving locally to the following location - Users\[Your Mac Username]\Library\Application Support\Sports Interactive\[Football Manager title]

In order to test, when within a loaded save go to FM -> Save As

On this screen click ‘Browse’ then attempt to save to a different location. We’d recommend the desktop, as this location is unlikely to encounter any issues which could be affecting your default location. If you find this is working correctly, then there is a problem with your permissions for the default folder.

Hey Dan can I ask you something do you Know where I can find these awful default faces I want to delete them from my game but do not know what they are called its ok if not
