It wasn't last year - I don't know about the other guys but it was my first time playing FF, so I was getting the hang of everything else.
I think that the small number of people meant all our rosters were pretty stacked, plus a couple of guys lost interest over the course of the season which didn't help trades happen.

So I thought this would be a good time to return to the fantasy football discussion. The league needs to have an even number of people, I know Tommo's interested. Anyone else fancy a go?
Currently I've set the draft to the sunday evening before the regular season starts - but that can change depending on what's suitable for the majority of people. Also for anyone who aren't about at the eventual draft time there is an option to create your own personal rankings, or just allow the auto-drafter to follow the NFL.com rankings.

Also double checked and the current draft date/time will be after all pre-season games have finished. So fingers-crossed there won't be any injury surprises before the regular season starts.

this year i'll be better about running the team

I watched the first quarter and Brady looked really impressive with the Rookie WRs. The commentary was saying the Eagles have barely had any full contact practice sessions so far, so it'll be interesting to see how the run game goes next week against a team that have had more practice at tackling etc.
I was impressed with Blount, made a good case for being one of the main backups to Ridley last night.
Tommo.
Yeah Blount looks like he could be a good 3rd down back. Ridley played well but could not finish as shown in the first play of the game then Blount came in and finished. Benifit of that is it allows Vereen to play more at WR as he has shown hes more then capable playing there last year and and last night.
Tebow showed why he should not play QB aswell. Bit worried though as when he runs with it hes a decent QB but hoping that dont mean hes anything higher then a 3rd string QB

Regarding waiver status, is it possible, if a majority agree, to change from Inverse Order of Standings to Continual Rolling List (meaning that the last guy to have used the waiver wire gets the bottom rank, the second last the second bottom rank etc)
Anyway, looking forward to the draft and the season. I played for the first time last year, it was awesome and a great way to learn the game.
Tommo.
Yeah I think this is probably the better of the two

And less than one week to the first game of the season.

I was pretty happy with mine, although I didn't notice three of my starters are from Atlanta so there bye-week could be pretty terrible for me.
The projections seem to be pretty unrealistic for week 1. Judging by the 49ers kicker they're predicting them to score 54 points against Green Bay which seems a bit too high even given the playoff game last year!

Apparently Lacy's looked a cut above the other RBs in Green Bay in preseason. I've not had a chance to watch them.

As for Lacy, he will get a ton of redzone opportunities and his challenger for the starting job is out of the season, so he could put up RB2 values if he stays healthy (which some people are doubting)
As for my team I missed the cut several times on WRs, first no way I was taking Dez with Richardson still on the board. So the elite tier (Dez, Green, Marshall, Thomas, Jones) was gone too. After that I was targeting Roddy White but couldn't pass up Rodgers in the fourth. Colston was the last valuable guy before the value flattened-out and got picked just in front of me, so I went with Gronk and then stacked up on reliable vets (Wayne, Smith, Garçon)
But overall pleased with my team. My RBs will rack-up at least 40pts every week, Rodgers will be good for another 20, Gronk will deliver when he returns and it should put the pressure away from my WR to produce.
It's a shame that only half the league could make it to the draft, but it should be a good contest for the title. I really like Pippadoc's team, who I see is already going with the 'Oakland sucks" Defense
Tommo.
It was not til after the draft I realised I picked both Super Bowl QBs

Didn't receive anything so far thought.

Roddy White-Colston is impressive in 12 teams, not a fan of Austin and Rice thought.

Knile Davis in last round was a low risk gamble I feel. Jamal Charles injured in pre-season but will be back and he is 2nd string so if he goes down Davis will start. Took him over a back up QB but im only one without back up QB and there is still Bradford and Freeman to pick up in Kaepernicks bye week
