Deserved much better then that, ran them off their feet in the second half. Had we found an equalizer I think we would have gone on to win it. Ah well that is football.

Still think Postecoglou fucked Australia with a few of his selections. Really could have used Wilkshire at times, particularly once Franjic went off injured. Otherwise it was a decent effort, given the lack of quality held in some areas. Still think we'll see a mauling by both the Dutch and the Spanish.

Picking two Aussies in my twatball team is looking like a wise decision.

Australia were absolutely dire in the first 20 minutes, but once they actually came out to play it highlighted the weaknesses in Chile!s team. A good team like the Dutch should be able to pull them apart really, they've got some dangerous players going forward, but they'll struggle under pressure and from set-pieces.
