I know simoncoyne, its been a superb journey thats for sure and plenty of years to go by yet believe me! I'll 'count the trophy' even if we get promoted in second place I think or even playoffs as we've still gone up.

Fulham - February 2026

Into February, another month of love was here, and whilst I had a mission to do, I knew it was going to be hard to win the league now this season, its all very close at the top, another good run would bring us back in contention.

http://i.imgur.com/a9imKM4.png?1

Well, not a bad month throughout February thats for sure, in twenty one days we faced seven games which saw us win five draw one and lose one which proved to be the opening game of February. A good FA Cup run is on to.

We began on the road at Blackburn where we fell to a one nil defeat.

Things improved as we welcomed Peterborough and stroled to a six one win. We were three nil up in thirteen minutes as Glimey, Caceres and Woodrow all found the target. Aneke and Woodrows second also came before the break to put us five nil up. We conceded one before Woodrow sealed his hatrick.

Goals continued to come as we beat Premier League side Stoke in the FA Cup Fifth round in this eight goal thriller. Our goals came from Caceres, Woodrow and a superb hatrick for on loan striker Glimey as we sealed the massive win. The Sixth Round draws us to Arsenal.

A trip to Bournemouth saw us win three one. All the goals coming from one man, Woodrow netting a superb hatrick for the club.

He netted against as we welcomed Watford and drew one a piece. The travelling side netted before the break with Woodrow's goal coming in the second half.

A clean sheet and two nil win came as we took a trip to my former ground at Blackpool. Both goals came in the opening twenty four minutes. Glimey netting first with Aneke netting second for us.

We ended the month with relegation threatened Birmingham travelling to us, they gave it their best but we came out on top. Our goals supplied once again by Woodrow netting the first whilst Aneke netted in back to back games for the club and Burn also netted. Birmingham' two goals came late on.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/95JnBUeGt8FRrvrn3YO1TIzlI35tWqgflw5YQrbp.png

Tottenham have a six point lead at the top of the pile and I'd expect them to break the one hundred points barrier this year. We sit second but only by five points over Reading and Sunderland who are keeping the pressure up on us!

Fulham - March 2026

The penultimate month of the season was here and into March we went in fine form thats for sure. With an FA Cup run still on the go as well as a good league position, could we keep battling away and catch Spurs up at the top?

http://i.imgur.com/a5VeBQ4.png?1

No! What an awful month! We won just once this month, drawing three times and losing twice, our FA Cup run is still on after a superb display against Arsenal but you'd assume our league title hopes is all but over.

We began on the road at Tottenham where we blew a two goal lead and the chance to close the gap. Busk had put us two nil up in thirty three minutes, but goals either side of the break saw Spurs come back level and grab a point.

Welcoming Arsenal in the FA Cup Sixth Round we managed to earn a replay, we played brilliantly. All three of our goals came in twenty two minutes with Caceres netting twice and Busk grabbing one. At half time it was three two and Arsenal levelled in the second half from a spot kick, a trip to the Emirates awairds.

A third draw on the bounce came when we welcomed Crystal Palace. Again we were poor, this time in the first half finding ourselves three nil down at the break. Thankfully we thought back brilliantly with Aneke netting twice and Dier grabbing one, sending us to a point which looked lost at the break.

Four without a win came as we lost two one at Leeds. Another bad showing, Glimey netted our only goal of the game two minutes after the restart.

Our only win of the game came as Glimey netted eight minutes into the game against Leicester at home.

We went back to losing ways as we lost to Cardiff at the end of the month. Woodrow netted a fine double for us, securing a new record for most goals in a season in the Championship, but a lose is a lose.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ALyARYcXBCENGXAXdkslOsT4LMO6i8ZLt14KC9AW.png

Spurs are the first side to confirm at least a playoff spot this season as they've now hit eighty seven points and it looks like they are set to win the league as they move thirteen points clear of us now, they have just six games remaining whilst we have seven games, we'd have to be perfect and more for them to slip up this badly. Reading are level with us, just hoping we can hold out in second.

If I get promotion from the automatic spot or playoffs I will still be counting it as the Championship ticked off.

Still can't believe Spurs were relegated but being almost 10 years into the future I guess anything could happen. Fulham may be a side just relegated but a great season no matter what, the Championship has got to be the hardest league to get out of both realistically and in FM, great stuff Dan, playoffs look guaranteed and I would expect automatic promotion is likely.

Being fairly new to posting in the forums, is the instant result button commonly used by members? Do you yourself use it Dan? Curious as to whether or not those embarking on long career journeys use it.

I know DP91 neither can I, they still have quite a strong side so no wonder they are strolling through the division, hope I can find many fallen giants over the years of this career! As for the instant result button, I use it now and again if I need to quickly finish a month etc, I've only had it on this version though, I suppose it depends on the individual, I don't see any harm in it being used.

Fulham - April 2026

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/vCxaFHHS3sO9GvK7e6NESGWE9xcGnlcc9Hm1ikZQ.png

Here it was, the final month of the league season and boy were we up against it if we wanted the league title, Spurs were cruising and with an FA Cup game still to play as well, it made our schedule two games more than theirs in the final run in, would we be able to do enough or was it false hope?

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/jRaL8P7yQDjchMbpdneLH7UwSCyYRRv7a9HeZLla.png

Well, it wasn't a bad run in for us, five wins from our eight games which ended the season, but it could of gone better, however was that form going to be enough to catch Tottenham or even secure automatic promotion and keep Reading off our tail? We had a great FA Cup run that ended disastrously here too.

We began at home welcoming Barnsley and keeping a strong clean sheet whilst picking up all three points. Both goals came in the opening twenty seven minutes as Glimey and Dier both netted for us.

Another clean sheet came as we travelled to Sunderland and claimed a second two nil win on the bounce. This time it was in the final twenty three minutes when both goals came. Woodrow netting first before Aneke netted six minutes into injury time,

A seven goal thriller came as we faced Reading and beat them four three, could of gone either way. Woodrow netted another fine hatrick for us whilst Aneke netted for a second game running. Reading had plenty of chances to win this.

The came a thrashing from Arsenal at the Emirates, it was always going to be tough in the replay and we ended up crashing out losing six two. Busk and Woodrow netted goals when we were six nil down to give us a little credit.

Back in the league and winning ways continued as we beat Wigan at home three nil. We played well throughout the whole of this game, Burn putting us ahead in the nineteenth minute before Caceres made it two nil before the break. Woodrow added our third and final goal just after the restart.

A trip to Sheffield United saw us lose in the league for the first time this month. A three two defeat was poor. Our goals coming from Aneke and Nkumu once we were already three nil down.

A nine goal thriller was seen in our penultimate league game of the season as we travelled to Hull and beat them five four. After Glimey gave us the lead early on we found ourselves three two down at the break, Caceres netting our second. Second Half we turned it around though, Caceres secured his hatrick whilst Woodrow netted his final goal of a superb season.

We'd end the season on a sour note, a home defeat against MK Dons. Poor showing, poor performance.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/QrfDDXJXEB6hS0KZ3cUEPeTSPdLIId7Gu3ZEPkJT.png

Tottenham do indeed hit the one hundred points mark this season, it was always going to be hard to keep up with them. We end up finishing second and securing automatic promotion, finishing a point short of ninety points. We finished just two points clear of third place Reading. At the other end Blackpool were relegated after I brought them back to the division.

I've already confirmed with Fulham I won't be accepting a new deal. Redbull Salzburg manager hasn't accepted a new deal either yet with his expiring this summer.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/vCxaFHHS3sO9GvK7e6NESGWE9xcGnlcc9Hm1ikZQ.png

The league season has now ended and we won promotion, finishing second place, where expected by the board and where expected by the media since we were relegated last season. As I already stated I wasn't going to see anymore time out at Fulham as I needed to move on, not quite sure what would be next though.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/95ElCWkA1FOETg6IqCw2y7RcFxjWvCnRpsCS7q3N.png

The only award we won this summer was the SkyBet Championship Golden Boot. Free scoring, in form striker Woodrow absolutely dominated the front line as he netted thirty nine goals in the league! A superb running from the striker.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/0BXl7jZrG1I8N864qvK8nC4acbIE74xFf1k9F4yV.png

Well, as it was always likely to be, I've resigned from my post at Fulham, only spent three hundred and sixty two days in charge, just short of hitting the one year mark. But as I said, it was always going to be the case. I saw my side play fifty four games, win thirty two (fifty nine percent) draw nine and lose thirteen. We scored one hundred and forty one whilst conceding eighty one. No silverware but promotion to the top tier.

This was going to be my first choice of clubs this summer. Redbull Salzburg had this mans contract running out this summer with him also announcing his attention for a few other clubs. But as you can see, he has accepted a new deal in May, meaning I needed to find another plan for this season.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/krzo45hRvec32gB7GlHnvAzeSON6rWKulLrr93lI.png

Then this opportunity came up and what an opportunity it was for me! Mourinho has called time on his managerial career meaning a vacancy at Liverpool appeared, my boyhood club, the one club I really wanted to manage in this career, I now have the chance if I can impress in the interview! Oh please please please!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/venCEi7LQfZoF5I3Adin4hFG8O1YZRIFN1LtFIi7.png

Get in! A job offer and accepted without even having to think twice! Not the biggest transfer budget or wage budget, but its the job I needed, its a chance at the big stage, the Premier League, maybe even a European chance! Now I knew things would be difficult but hopefully I can produce!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/RwQES4QzUId8FQPKLiFOEBX8BL7OUMDCIu51Ah5W.png

My final coaching badge! Its underway, the Liverpool board clearly share my ambitions and now hopefully I can scoop this final badge and become one of the greatest managers of all time!

So I had my childhood dream job, manager of Liverpool Football Club, one of the biggest teams if not the biggest team in the World. As of late in real life they have struggled, its changed a little bit seeming I am heading into my thirteenth season into the future. But to bring you up to date this post will cover nearly everything you need to know about Liverpool of the present day.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/nbs23AOw5iDBEXyIoJZj9YKjyo4GS5LqpJ7sUWlV.png

Financially, Liverpool aren't super rich, but they are rather strong in this sense. Twenty six million pounds in the balance, which I'm expecting or rather hoping will rise in the next few weeks through television rights and what not. A small transfer budget available and a little gap in the wage market, not too bad.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/REGwNwTeWxOcWD9ckMpk2ac8jOYpPrUCsmPg6z44.png

I have quite a big staff room here at Liverpool, plenty of quality in the reputation rank. Enough scouts but may need to change it up a little, get some foreign scouts in to widen the range and knowledge.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/TTFPi5c2ktKB10fubJ0RuXa8FqsOWB5rHuahopqN.png

A good squad as expected here at Liverpool, a strong squad with its weaknesses as you'd expect but plenty of strengths. Good to see so many strong players in the team. Definitely a bit of work to be done though, hopefully we can work on it over the summer but its likely to be faces out before faces in! If you wish to see anyones stats just ask and I'll post it in my reply to you next update.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/z8dnGCZaxVdXSoS8tROrcv5Lv26MMXYE164hEeRk.png

Here are Liverpool' honours since time begin, but obviously you can see which are most recent. They haven't won the Champions League since 2005 but came runners up in 2021. The Europa League saw them runners up in 2017 and 2018 but win it in 2025. They were also Super Cup runners up in 2025. They've now won the Premier League twice in 2022 and 2024, finished runners up in 2020 and 2026 (last season). The FA Cup has been won just once in 2023. The Capital One Cup hasn't been won since the start of this career whilst the Community Shield have been won three times, 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Here was a short summer and a short update, I didn't really do anything in the transfer window as we didn't really have the money to spend and Mourinho had already made transfers before he left and retired so I thought I'd just make the most of the squad I've got now.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/GGY6RkKVxDEFhhBz5UNqufLJ6fbLpyt6P1Hk2R5n.png

These are the outgoings this summer, as you can see they are all on loan deals. No big player or part player has left yet as I feel everyone needs a chance to prove themselves to me so I can see what we have to work with this year. Next year I'll look to make a few more changes to the squad and really strengthen up.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ijobGOeFvxoAcaY7G1N7Gp5GAgKfLkNEvy6884xN.png

On the pitch it wasn't brilliant, I'm just hoping its everyone getting use to the new tactics that I've brought into the club. It won't be easy to get on the ground running but I'm sure it won't take too long. Its going to be a long term job here at Liverpool it seems, hope I have what it takes to last it out.

Welcome to the Premier League, it was time to try and take on the biggest lead in England and potentially the biggest league in the world. It wasn't going to be easy here in the Premier League but there is no one I'd rather take it on with than Liverpool. There was a transfer to update you about as well.

Would you believe me if I told you I got this guy on a free transfer!!! What a signing. He was released by Lyon and left on the free transfer market, one of my scouts found him and told me to sign him, that I did. He's valued at forty eight million already and I could make instant profit on him! Brilliant!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/UhL8J8kxMsRmzhBmVXcHKRlZgysYGSBpWXEgSjZ0.png

Well, thats one way to announce yourself to the Premier League, my job was an easy one in the opening month, pick up the maximum points possible and that we did, three wins from three, nine points from nine, only one clean sheet though and we've already conceded six!

My reign began on the road against Southampton who we beat three two. A good showing from us, Fernandes netted after eight minute and Sabatino made it two nil in twenty three minutes. We conceded one before the break but went three one up almost immediately after the break, Fernandes netting again. We conceded again but won three two.

My first home game saw us welcomed Swansea and play out a ten goal thriller in this six four victory for us. Gutierrez netted six minutes into his debut, Sabatino netted superb hatrick taking him to four in two games. Borecki and Soares also netted for us in this record breaking win.

We ended the month on the road beating West Ham one nil. Bull netted in the final minute.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/KHXRras2lorkuJi0GHJQreuk3NWWRYp3Jl349gxo.png

Not much point looking at this at the moment, but Everton lead the way, haven't conceded a goal yet, Arsenal and us join them with three wins out of three in the opening month.

Into the second month of the season and after the way we started the league season there was nothing stopping me thinking we could win the league this season. However there was going to be a set back result this month that really wasn't pleasing for me or the fans!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/FhzldYoKY3LAGWJ07yBtm1RpB1NHSXdnBdqM5KUv.png

Well, six results that have gone up and down. We've won four games this month but fell to two defeats. The result against Manchester United was shocking, my first big rivalry game and this is how it went!

We first welcomed Burnley and beat them four one at home, a confident performance. McAusland netted after two minutes with Sabatino making it two nil. We conceded before the break but McAusland made it three one with his second before Bull secured the win.

Welcomed M.Haifa in my first Champions League game saw us win five nil. Sterling netted his first goal of the season before Gruezo made it two nil before the break. Borecki and Daniel Gutierrez who struck twice, secure the big win.

However it was marred by the trip to Old Trafford as Manchester Unite trounced me six goals to one. We were diabolical! No excuse and our goal came from an own goal as well. Shocking!

A trip to Reading in the Capital One Cup Third Round saw us win four two over the Championship side. Sabatino netted twice for us whilst Gutierrez also netted twice for us, sailing into the Fourth Round.

A defeat at home against newly promoted Spurs really didn't go to plan as we lost out one nil.

Finally a trip to Portugal where we beat Porto two one in the Champions League. Both our goals once again came from Sabatino. He netted either side of the hosts equaliser.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/CUxTqPV3rYAdIbK2uuPu0EvibkVe4YzfM8l78RKq.png

Well United lead the table, unbeaten and in control whilst Arsenal join them on the same points tally and also unbeaten. We sit fourth, with City third both just two points away from the two league leaders.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/RNbggdUn6IoNOe7E8kfN16NuWe3Dolb1wI2BoAKC.png

This is our Champions League group and its started well. Its a tough group we face with Porto and Dortmund but I'm more than confident we'll head through as our start was crucial winning both our group games.

Last month wasn't really that good, it was up and down with some tough results which included a harsh defeat against Manchester United, it wouldn't of pleased any fans. Into October and we'd get back to playing in three different competitions, could we liven up the results a little bit? And another big transfer in.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/6WIWMjUV8sHMPl76uUDrjBER3ZS5W1dktzKedWTw.png

Another top free transfer, not sure if its a bug in the game finding these players on free transfers but I'm not going to complain right now. Santos, an attacking midfield was superb, took him on trial to see what y assistant thought of him and it was worth it.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/LvKwfZtaLtwswz70eU5JQaqSdhYLi3VDYe0wWWsQ.png

A much better month! Unbeaten throughout the six games we played as we continued battling through all three competitions. A massive win against German giants Dortmund as well! Four wins and two draws for October.

We began the month travelling to Chelsea and grabbed a four three win from Stamford Bridge. We came back to win from three one down. Gutierrez netted a double for us whilst Sabatino also netted another double for us securing the big three points.

Welcoming Newcastle was next on our agenda and we played out a two all draw. Bull gave us the lead before Newcastle levelled before the break. Starling made it two one but we conceded again, slipping to just a point.

A massive win came at Anfield when we welcomed German giants Dortmund and recorded a seven one victory. Goals from five of our players secured the massive win. Barbos, Sabatino, Duval and Pujol all netted one each whilst Karl Bull netted a European hatrick against the German giants!

Back to league action we welcomed Charlton and narrowly saved a two one win and all three points. Sterling netted after six minutes with Bull making it two nil in thirteen. We conceded in the second half but were safe here.

Back to Capital One Cup action we travelled to Middlesbrough in the Fourth Round, a one all draw saw it go to penalties. Sabatino netted in the first half for us before we conceded second half. It went to a shootout where we advanced four two. In the Quarter Final we'll face Brighton.

We stayed in Middlesbrough as we faced them in the league just three days later and claimed a three one victory. Gutierrez netted two in the opening ten minutes, his brace just two minutes apart. Sterling made it three nil with twenty three minutes remaining before the host pulled one back.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/104rlJGB93EFTo6BDymeWQueDYSafcUM85lTxeN2.png

We are back in contention in the league but I'm not really fancying out chances of winning it this year as we aren't consistent enough, thats my views anyway. We sit second, just two points behind league leaders City whilst we are just two points clear of United and Arsenal in third and fourth.

Three wins from three, almost through now surely! If we can top this group I'll be extremely happy as it'll show how strong we are as Dortmund and Porto both in our group. The Portugal side are struggling in the group this year.

Those free transfers look immense mate.Shame you cant get a defender of that class as you are conceding a lot but im a Newcastle fan who remembers keegans team of the 90s very well and if you score more than you concede which is what your doing regularly then theres no reason you cant continue this very good form. You was handed a tricky group but your doing well enough in it.

Great start to life at Anfield, you might not tick off the Premiership trophy off your list this year, but it looks like you might get the Champions League trophy instead!

Liverpool - November 2026

After an unbeaten October we flew into November in fine fashion and fine form, great league form, superb in Europe and still in the Capital One Cup, there was little to complain about so far. I've already had a board meeting about lack of harmony and broken promises, but I'm not out the door just yet.

Well, not quite perfect over the five games of November, but we weren't too far off so thats pleasing, another couple of superb wins in Europe to keep the run going, a set back in the league but other than that, it was good for the club.

First off a trip to Germany as we faced Dortmund, it wasn't quite the thumping we gave them first game but a two one win will do here. We came back from one down as Pujol netted before the break to level things and Bull netted in the second half, securing the win.

Back in England we welcomed Stoke and fell to our only defeat in the last two months, a one nil defeat.

On the road to Brighton in the league we got back to winning ways winning two one here. We trailed at the break, we started slowly and played poorly. But we turned things around as Bull and Soares both netted, the winner coming four minutes from time from the latter.

Another high win came this month, a trip to M.Haifa saw us trounce them five nil! A superb showing and win. First half goals from Gutierrez and Bull sent us on our way. Sabatino netted after the break whilst Gutierrez netted his second and Pujol made it five nil late on.

We ended the month at Anfield, welcoming Aston Villa who we beat two one. Sabatino netted seven minutes before the break to send us into half time one up. Gutierrez netted three minutes after the restart to make it two nil. We conceded a consolation goal but went on to grab all the points.

Manchester City stay in charge of the league at this stage, fourteen games in and they lead the table by a single point over Arsenal in second whilst we sit third just two points behind City in first and West Ham in third are just three points off the top spot. Its all very close to date thats for sure. Our next two game are Manchester City and then Arsenal to! Big games!

We are through from our Champions League group, it was billed as a tough group but we've maxed the points to date with five wins from five, only one other team have done this this season and its Schalke. Our goal difference is a superb plus eighteen with one game to go which will see us face Porto.

A good start with Liverpool. You probably don't need more than three seasons to tick of England entirely - one cup this year, a double next year and then the fourth year number three. How does that sound?
