No results. I have to surrender to the evidence of not being able to view these kits in any way
Did you add shirts with editor? This is a must do, since Uniteti doesn't have shirts assigned in kits&colors section, and without them, you can't see custom kits

I don't have any editor. I have no problems with others custom kits, i can see them normally, i'm struggling just with them
For what i know, for in-game editor you must pay for buy it and i won't pay anything else except the digital copy of the game when i buy it every year at release

No problem, you do the same with normal editor, but you'll have to start new career to see changes
@bolid74 I have the same problem for 2d kits. I have the config and seems ok but is a 3rd division team and no one made an official pack of Kosovo 3rd division. I can't visualize both, neither 2d neither 3d
why cant you use in-game editor? or you lose your career.
I continue my career without seeing kits I won't pay for adding in-game editor. I find it unfair for SI to charge a separate editor after already charging you for the game

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately also using this database, kits still not showing so despite all the efforts profused, i have to resign myself to not seeing the kits displayed unless I use the in-game editor. At this point I start a career elsewhere hoping that they will appear normally
I wonder if somebody could help me. I've got the attached Vicenza FM20 3D kits (plus config), which however aren't appearing in my existing save game. Other 3D kits from the same pack work just fine, so it's not something directly related to the config file or the way it's been installed. The SS kits for the club display normally as well, which would seem to indicate it's not a database issue which needs to be fixed using an in-game editor.
I've tried removing the kits from the division's folder and editing the config file accordingly, then moving them into a separate folder with a config file just for them. Still, no luck.
Which means that it's either an issue with the kits themselves or the text within the config. Grateful if somebody could illuminate me as to what I could do to get them to display...

mons, are you using the kits colours fix file released with the pack?

I can't recall as I started the save a fair while ago, but I don't think I did.
However, to test, I've started new careers with the 20.0 database and the 20.4 database, with or without the kits colour fix file released with the pack. and all the permutations I could think of, and it still isn't displaying.

Tremendously frustrating.
I always suggest in such cases to check other folders / packs, perhaps author forgot Vicenza lines in some other config

I really should have asked in here before I spent the guts of a day or two trying to resolve it on my own. I sorted this a couple of minutes ago actually, and the issue was precisely what you suspected.
So I spent today trying to get my custom 3D kit design into my save, and every time I tried, I would go to my CLUB INFO screen and the old kits would still be there. After hours of trying different things, I finally just played the game and my custom kits actually showed up in the game engine.
I went back to the CLUB INFO screen after the match but the old kits were still there. I even went so far as to delete the original kit's .png files out of the 3D kits folder that I downloaded, but even that didn't work. Then I deleted the lines of code relating to my team out of the original config file and still nothing.
I've tried cache clearing. I've made sure all the correct boxes are ticked 50 times over. Does anyone know what could be happening?

3D kits ONLY display during the match. The kits in club info are a different graphical file and also need to be changed accordingly in whichever style you have them (e.g. SS, FC'12)
Hi all. Rookie Kit maker. I made some 2d and 3D kits for Leeds and I cannot figure out how to change the color of the jersey number and name from the original. It only seems to be editable 'pre-save.' Does anyone know how to change these to work with an existing save?
Hopefully the 2D versions show up below. I'd like to use #4 as my #2, but the numbers don't show up properly. If you look at the 3D kit you can see that the name and number are still gray from the original kit.

Yes, I am working on it but there are a lot of kits as well as a lot of changes from the last time I did them.
Currently, I am halfway through UEFA. Should be finished in maybe a week or so

you need remove 'pictures'....picture use for logo, facepacks, not kits tho.
like this - C:\Users\[name]\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2020\graphics\3D Kits\ put in league or clubs

unticked 'Use caching to decrease page loading times & tick 'Reload skin when confirming changes' > click 'Reload Skin'?
