I have joined Lincoln city in the summer of 2028 after five seasons at Guiseley where I guided them to two promotions and ended up comfortably mid table in the Vanarama National League. However, I decided I wanted a change and applied for a bunch of jobs and Lincoln City approached me; it was a no-brainer. Lincoln in real life sit in EFL League One and are well known from their wonderful FA Cup run where they defeated Premier League Burnley on the way to facing Arsenal. In my save however, Lincoln find themselves in EFL League Two after narrowly missing out on the playoffs this season.
MY FIVE YEAR PLAN WITH LINCOLN CITY:
Season One: Gain Promotion from EFL League Two automatically.
Season Two: Survive in EFL League One
Season Three: Mid table finish in EFL League One
Season Four: Top half finish in EFL League One
Season Five: Make the playoffs in EFL League One

I signed four players in the summer as I found my squad was pretty bloated and only a few areas needed strengthening.
Here they are:
Seamus Danquah from
Seamus comes in as a young back up with potential as he signs from Premier League and Europa League chasing Brighton and Hove Albion.
Goce Sekerovski
was a free agent that I picked up and the Albanian will be a beast for us this season at the back and a leader too.
Charlie Henry (On Loan From )
What a signing this is. A magnificent young full back joins us on loan from Premier League Fulham and will show his quality I am sure throughout the season. Welcome Charlie!
Raekwon Hinton (On Loan From
A tricky young winger becomes the second loan from a Premier League club and looks to be an exciting acquisition.

Well August was an interesting month for sure and proved to be a decent month in the end in terms of League Two and our form albeit a bit inconsistent.
GAME ONE: Wycombe Wanderers (H)
FT: Lincoln City 2 - 0 Wycombe Wanderers
GOALS: Geoff Small (1), Adam Print (1)
Great performance from us here as we picked up a welcome three points against a good Wycombe side.
GAME TWO: Cambridge (H)
FT: Lincoln City 1-0 Cambridge
GOALS: Geoff Small (2)
A professional and defensively superb display as we saw off rivals Cambridge United by a single goal again from Geoff Small
GAME THREE: (Carabao Cup) Chesterfield (H)
FT: Lincoln City 1-1 Chesterfield (Lost on Penalties)
A great display from the players against League One Chesterfield as loanee Jac Russell scored a late equaliser to take it to pens where we unfortunately lost.
GOALS: Jac Russell (1)
GAME FOUR: Port Vale (A)
FT: Lincoln City 1-2 Port Vale
A loss to a side up there for promotion isn't horrendous but we were in the game and a loss was frustrating.
GOALS: Raekwon Hinton (1)
GAME FIVE: Bradford City (A)
FT: Lincoln City 0-2 Bradford City
Outclassed by a strong Bradford side in a tricky trip away from home
GAME SIX: Ebbsfleet (H)
FT: Lincoln 4-1 Ebbsfleet
An amazing attacking display against struggling Ebbsfleet.
GOALS: Shaughnessy (1), Russell (1), Matthews (1), Hinton (2)
GAME SEVEN: Accrington (A)
FT: Accrington 0-0 Lincoln City
A fair result in an even game that lacked quality in front of goal.
We also lost to Liverpool U23 in the Leasing.com trophy 1-0
So, after the first month we sit 7th in the table which is decent as I am aiming to get promoted either via the playoffs or automatically. We have to improve away from home against the bigger sides if we want to go up this season.
PLAYER OF THE MONTH:
Small has been wonderful in the opening month getting two goals and two assists in five league games!
