I would use the browsing system for cut out's instead of the database search if you care about how the faces display. 👍

Thanks. That's better for check if a player have a 250 cut 🙂

For Packs uploaded as sources, is there any way of uploading responses in bulk? For example with the requested pack here that I have assigned as pending to me, it's my understanding that I would either have to either upload each response individually for each player, or to upload a new separate pack with all the game ready images that wouldn't be linked with the original request. Hoping I've just not spotted something but otherwise the ability to upload several or all responses to a pack at once would be a much appreciated feature
mons
if you upload a pack, it'd display on the persons' timeline in much the same way as this: https://sortitoutsi.net/graphics/submissions/collection/21518
You can also find it on this page.
Not sure if I've understood your query/proposal tbh…

If I've read the post right, I think @HRiddick is saying that an “Upload Completed Pack” button on this page would be useful. In which case there's a thread here to post feature requests so Footygamer can see them
HRiddick
Yeah that's exactly right - as it stands for a requested pack of source uploads, I either have to upload each player's cut individually, or upload a new pack which would leave the source images as still pending or in progress.
mons
Ah, I get what you mean, but the way it works is that they would only remain pending or in progress until they are approved by a staff member, in which case they would appear as completed, same as happened to the pack I linked to above.
Footygamer
Yeah I think what we want is:
It's here on the roadmap but it a little way down: https://trello.com/b/B72pXX0n/sortitoutsi-public-roadmap titled “Ability to respond to a graphic pack submission”
HRiddick
Perfect, thanks for adding that to the roadmap!

Hello, @mons , @Footygamer and etc.
I have two questions/suggestions about Submissions and Browse Images.
The first one is about the pending images in “Browse Images” page. In the way it is working now, you can see that there is 1 pending image in Andora (and you don't know if it's pending soure or pending game-ready), but you cannot find it unless you check all the players/staff timelines at the club with this pending image. The only thing that you can do is to check firstly the Recently active images, but it's not 100% sure that the most recent image will be the pending one.
Is it possible to make these pending images boxes to a link which leads you only to these pending images? Or may be it will be easier to add the status of the image in the “Recently Active” page and you easily can spot which one is the pending with scrolling one or two pages (especially for the countries with less images).
The second one is about the the submission page. Now you can filter all source pending images and you view them only by date of submission. It will be good to have an option to prioritize the sources without an game-ready image in the Megapack. I don't know if its technicall possible, but a filter by date of the image in the megapack can do wonders (in my opinion). It can show firstly the pending sources with no image in the Megapack and then pending sources with the oldest image in the Megapack. The amount of the pending sources is too big and I believe that this function can improve the Megapack with lots of new images and many improvements of the old 180x180 sized images.

As for your first question, I certainly agree that being able to pinpoint which person has a pending image from a particular club/division/country would be a valuable addition.
As for your second question, I certainly agree the amount of pending sources is too big. I've been doing this twelve years now and demand has always outstripped supply. It's like whack-a-mole, you cut a bunch and another couple of bunches get requested. If anything, the community has really nipped at the request list of late. When one checks the pending image list it's at 124 pages as I type; when I wrote this two months, it was at 160 pages and there are a lot more requests now than usual due to the new database being released and many gaps needing to be filled. I'll leave it up to Footygamer as to whether what you're asking is technically possible and worth the work required to implement it. But if you want only to cut missing images, all you have to do is see if there's a little icon by the side of the player's name in the request list.
In the above example, Bezerra already has a cut in the megapack and Piek doesn't. You can then choose to prioritise the cutting of Piek over that of Bezerra; it's what I often do, in fact.
I also agree with you that updating older and smaller images is preferable, especially when compared to making a new cut for a person who already had a cut last year, but some cutters prefer the latter to the former - and who I am to argue? All quality cuts always gratefully received as far as I'm concerned. I'm not too sure that it'll increase output all that much either - I uploaded 22.0 around this time last week and we've already had more than 2,600 images posted since then, so the community is certainly churning them out.
If it were up to me, to reduce the pending list, I'd provisionally decrease the individual request limit from 10 per person to 6, and the teampack request limit from unlimited to something like 20-30, to ideally encourage requesters to cut some of their images. But that wouldn't be very popular and some requesters have explicitly said they don't mind having loads of pending requests, so again who am I to argue?
Footygamer
Thanks @t.marinov all added to the roadmap and may well get done today 🙂
Footygamer
Now when you view the list of recently active people you'll see a badge if there are any pending submissions and hovering over the submission count will give you a break down by status:
Footygamer
You can now click the pending icon on the browse pages to jump straight to the queue filtered to only pending submissions belonging to whatever it was you were viewing.
Footygamer
This is in now. You can now use the “Upload Response” button on a pack and it will automatically assign each uploaded image as a response to the original image and set the original image as completed.
When viewing a pack you should also be able to see if its had a response or is a response to another pack as well.
Only took 4 months 🙂

Lovely stuff. There's a minor issue now, probably related to this.
As can be seen in the screenshot, the amount of comments is the same to the amount of images requested. The right amount of comments does appear for at least some people (red circle), but it's not the case for others (blue circle - only 2 comments) where the same issue materialises itself.
HRiddick
Great stuff 👏
Footygamer
You can now filter the items list by people that have a pending image and/or have an image in the pack.
https://sortitoutsi.net/graphics/submissions/1/items
It is not currently possible to sort by the age of active image. I'm not sure if/when i'm going to be able to do this.
The filter works, but when you go to the next page, it unticks again and you also see people that already have a cut.
mons
I just checked it and it seems to be working as intended. Could you be a bit more clear on what is currently shown and what you think needs to be fixed with it? Screenshots always help 🙂
mons
Ah I get you now, the selected preferences are lost when you navigate to anything beyond the second page.
t.marinov
Great work as always. And a lot faster than I expected. Thank you for bringing in both functions.
Footygamer
@BramNUFC fixed the pagination links not working 🙂
@Footygamer one more thing about this: when I click on submissions, it sends me to this ‘queue' page instead of the ‘items' one.
Maybe it's worth adding those filters to the queue page as well, since more people will be aware and make use of it that way.
Footygamer
Do you mean only show ones with no active image on the queue page (when listing submissions rather than people)?
Adding a filter for that, yes.
@Footygamer it's shows as if this person already has an active face, but when I click on him there's actually nothing. Have seen this on a couple more as well I think.
He actually does show up if you filter for ‘Threads with no active image'
Footygamer
There are some images with IDs in the megapack itself which didn't match up to anyone in our database. This is because they were added before version 7 (fm15) and our database only included people in the game fm15 and after.I'm guessing this guy was in a game before fm15 and re-added now, which is why he was already in the megapack. It's on the to do list to loop through and match any old IDs with people re-added in FM22 but but haven't got round to it.EDIT: sorry I think i've misunderstood. What do you mean by “it shows as if this person already has an active face”?
