This File should also work for FM21 (I do not have FM21 but have seen the file from another user and SI have used the same config as they previously did making this download valid for FM21)

I have altered the FaceGen settings to try and make the generated faces more like the nationality they are from.
Chinese look more Chinese
Europeans look more European
Africans look African
SI implementation of 3D faces since the move from 2D is incredibly shoddy work, the game regressed years for us loving career type gamers.
Unfortunately I can't bring back the regens faces from the good old days but with this mod I feel nationalities are more life like.
SI dont like modders very much but I was fed up with my regens looking the same, the chinese population looked too european, the Africans looked too similar so I went about changing the facegen parameters to better reflect differences in looks.
I cannot change the use of SI skin tones, they use darker and lighter skin tones for all nationalities to a degree thats not really realisitic.
I cannot add more hairstyles and what we do have is very limited in scope.
I could change variables like eyes, noses, lips, cheeks and jaws. I hope you will find these edits better than what SI created and their sloppy "generic parameters".
Where to place the file:
*your steam library*\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2020\data\sifacegen\configs
Make a back up of the original facegen_settings.json file incase you want to revert
Overwrite the file with my new one
I hope you like the differences!! (its subtle but it will show differences)

I dont typically buy each new version upon release. Too many years of knowing the game takes a few patches to get up to speed and bugs fixed so if I buy (covid has also crippled my finances) it'll be after the winter transfer window patch and during a sale...however maybe I'll win a copy in a comp 😉
Hopefully FM21 has improved on the regens, they seem to improve a tad bit each year, I'm sure they could be vastly improved but if SI did that they couldnt claim to be improving the game with each new release :face_with_tongue:
