Change kick of times for a league

This may seem like an odd question but I have my reasons. 

Is it possible to change all of the KO times to 3pm or earlier in the game? Can this be done in the Editor?

The reason I ask is I believe my graphics run smoother in day fixtures. I have no idea why but I am fairly certain they do. It could be less demand on graphics card as no artificial light, I have no idea but there are less glitches in my day fixtures. I know I can turn my graphics level down but I am reluctant to do this.

Also in my current save I have a black footballer who appears white in the game. I can change his hair, hair colour and hair style but can I change his skin colour. This is not the first time I have had this issue.

Any help or guidance much appreciated.

Editing the kickoff times can certainly be done in the PRE-game editor, but probably not in the IN-game editor. I'm not sure, because I haven't used the latter one. Obviously the unfortunate issue with changing the kickoff times with the pregame editor is that you'd have to start a whole new game with that editor file with the modified kickoff times.

Check the 4th picture from the top, you can see the fixtures list with the starting times there.

I imagine the easiest way to change the kickoff times for the division you play in would be to use the real fixtures .txt file, mass-edit the starting times in notepad or other such program and then import the fixtures in the pregame editor. That covers the first season's fixtures and kickoff times. There should also be a section where you can define the timing of matches in general (for the following seasons as well). I cannot remember where you can find that setting in the editor off the top of my head, but it must be somewhere under the Competition-related setting section.

Many Thanks. I will see what I can do with this. I am a bit of a novice and have never used the Pre Game Editor before so I will try and find some instructions on where to start. For eg ….not even sure where the Pre Game Editor is ;-)

You can find the editor under Tools in you Steam library.

Thanks for your help with this. I have gone into the Editor and its way above my capabilities to even begin to try and do this. I appreciate your help though ……my hopes are shattered ;-)

How do I locate this?

I was wondering for eg if i was going to start a save in France . Could i set all fixtures in that country to 3pm KO? It would be no good just doing the league I was in as I may get promoted.

Many thanks. I am hopeless at all of this stuff but that actually looks kind of straight forward.

I assume when I make the changes and save them then it automatically saves to the version I am using .

you will need to start a new save to get changes to work 

NB if you want this just for one league its not going to take long but if you want cups/other leagues/continental comps etc then it is going to be a tad longer😉

Yeah sorry I have never used the pre game editor so its a big learning curve. I will attempt to change the French league and Cup games and see how I get on.

As i say never used the Editor so this could be challenging 

I have already had to abandon one attempt.

The point I was trying to make is how does it update the file or do I have to use a new data file when starting the new game 

The way it works is you make the adjustments in the pre game editor, save them into a data file and choose it (tick/untick the data files you want to use) when starting a new career.

Thanks guys , I have had a go at this and I am lost I am afraid . It’s late my mind is tired so I will have another go at this tomorrow .

I am going to try and do the French nation and change all of the leagues and cup games in that nation to 3pm kick offs . I won’t change the European competitions as I won’t push my luck 😊

do you use any other files like the real name fix any edited files at all? if so its the same concept, but your file will auto save to the editor data folder for you, so just select on new game start up as Tommy explains

i did have the name fix but it does not work since the update so I will have to do this again 

For now though I am keen to crack this changing the kick off times . Infact to keep it easier I may just try and change it for the French leagues only 😀

Ok guys I have had a few attempts at trying to do the above but I am struggling.

To keep it easy I am just going to change all French League fixtures to 3pm KO.

Is there a guide somewhere with like step by step instructions of how to do this. I have looked on a few websites and cant find any . I am a total newbie to the Pre Game Editor so its all a bit baffling , but I am keen to learn 

 Any Ideas?

Ok I thought i had cracked it ;-)

However when I go to launch the game and look at the database menu my file is showing but it says it needs to be tested and verified in the Editor first.

When i tried to test it in the Editor it would not let me.

The bloody girlfriend arrives soon and I wont get much of a chance to look at this over the weekend ;-)

EDIT when I try to run the test it says no division levels set up for France. I cant be far off ;-)

I have changed the KO times to 1pm in the French leagues , I have run the test and verified it. 

I have then went in and ticked the box in game launch screen and it has PARTIALLY worked . In all of the french leagues the first 7 or 8 of every teams fixtures kick off at 1pm. Then they revert to other times like 3PM and 8PM…..any ideas? 

I am determined to crack this ;-)

EDIT I think it has changed all of the friendlies at the beginning of the season but not the actual league games

Just tried to run the rules again and I got this message 

you need to report that to SI and upload the crash dump error 

copy what you have done from your posts here too and perhaps they can provide input as changing those times as I outlined should work unless SI have some hard coded rules which is over ruling them

Thanks . I tried to follow your guidelines in the thread at the top of the page as you had added how to change times. But I could not find the same screens you show . the match dates , the tv dates and the special tv dates . I just could not find these screens . i changed he times in another screen but I feel I have not done it in each individual league . I think this is where the problem is 

The home friendly fixtures for each team changes to my desired KO time , so I am making progress but I am clearly missing some crucial steps 

The advanced rules can be complex and the drop down menus lengthy 

you need to take time and have a good look around if you are not au fait with them it took me months to get on top of it

the section is this one- league schedule- check all the tabs below general/match days tv dates etc to see if there are any times in there

I will update the sticky thread too, but it is impossible to get the full drop down menu in a screenshot

Once again thank you . I will look at this again when I get a chance . I assume that all of this screen is pre populated or have you added those 7 items ? 
it might be a bit much for me to sort out , but I hate being beaten 😀
