Help Improving FM22 Game Speed

Hi,

I am looking to start a new save game and the estimated game speed rating was severely reduced from what it used to be. I used to play with around 60,000 players loaded in a custom database, around 3 stars on the rating, but now I can only achieve a 3 star rating with 10,000 players loaded. I don't know if this is a football manager related issue or one with my laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The star rating is indicative, and it also depends on what is running in the background in your system. If you have an internet browser window open with multiple tabs, a music or video streaming service in the background and a couple of other apps running, FM will detect that your system capacity to process FM-related data is somewhat diminished and the star rating will reflect this.

Try starting a new game immediately after restarting your PC and see if it makes a difference.
