This is a replacement for the Newgan Faces Manager Tool. If you have previously used that tool and are using the same saved game you will have to continue using that tool. For new saves, please use this tool alongside the latest version of the Ultra Realistic NewGan Faces Megapack.

This tool will let you generate a config file for Newgan players that you can combine with a Newgan Players Facepack in order to have realistic photos for new players that the game generates.

When you download it you will be greeted by a .zip file. Follow the same steps as in Step (1) to unzip this file.

You will then want to download click on the following file:

Windows: NewGAN-Manager-Installer-Win/windows/NewGAN-Manager.msi

Mac: NewGAN-Manager-Installer-Mac/MacOS/NewGAN-Manager.dmg

This will then install the program on your computer.

You may receive an error on Mac

“NewGAN-Manager.app”cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.”

To get around this simply go to Library > Applications find NewGAN Manager and click Right Click > Open and then select “Open”

Download URAN Faces Images: https://sortitoutsi.net/graphics/style/33/ultra-realistic-newgan-faces-megapack

Anyone know how to get the print page to export more than 200 odd players? I have 91k newgens currently….

Are you definitely scrolling to the bottom?

You will likely have to break it down into chunks, probably best to do a search for newgens in your nation or comp at least.

Anyone know how to get the print page to export more than 200 odd players? I have 91k newgens currently….

Do you mean you've problems in selecting all the players on the list?

May try the following:

Let's take my very old computer and select a list of 89,000 players as an example… First of all, make sure everything is loaded in your list, and then:

Select the first player and hold your mouse left button, then scroll slowly to the end of the list. You can see each player is selected on the way… (This is a challenge to hold the mouse and keep scrolling steadily.)

OR

Click and select a player, then press Ctrl-A to select all. (It could freeze, so may need to try a few times. Anyway, in my case, it takes around 20 seconds to have everyone selected, and feels like it hangs up in the process. Be patient!)

OR

Alternatively, click and select the first player in the list, then scroll all the way down to the bottom. Press and hold the Shift key, and click the last player. (it seems to be the most reliable method so far!)

Once you've every players selected, the export process shouldn't be an issue. Anyway:

I managed to export all the above 89k players into a .rtf file (about 20 MB) without any error. Forgive me that I don't bother to check if everyone is on the file, but I've a brief look: The first few and the last few players are there for sure.

Why don't you just give it a try? It's quicker than waiting for an answer here.

Problem in selecting all the staff? It's always easier than selecting players, as it should be a much smaller list.

Basically, it's the same process… just using the corresponding view file.

Which step did you have problems?

i think the problem is staff count. they are about 6000 people, so nothing happened when i press “replace faces” .

So, you have things work on players, but not staff? Suppose you've much more regen players than staff… if players work, then staff should be alright too.

Anyway, it looks like an issue of FM.Z Tools… Sorry that can't help you further, as I'm still using NewGAN Manager.

By the way, may I ask: When you sort out the staff list, is it a way to filter out the opposite gender?

Last time I played, I found that my physio named Sarah, who ends up have a picture of George Clooney in the profile. From then, I stopped generating faces for regen staff…

What I tend to do is click the very first player. scroll all the way to the bottom and click the last player, scroll back up and click the firts player again and then select all

Yeah I did. In the end I got it working by just repeatedly doing the print and eventually it decided to export them all

I'm really struggling to get this working. I've followed all the steps, selected the image directory, and the .rtf file, but when I click ‘Replace Faces’ nothing happens. No green bar, no progress, no pop up at the end, nothing.

Try smaller no. of players?

Say, if you've 10,000 regen players on the list, then first try 5,000 and see if it works… If fail, then may test with 2,500.

I am getting the same issue as @kitcub. I am following the whole process correctly, but when i click on replace faces at the end nothing happens… could this be a new issue with the tool? did you have any luck in the end?

If you clicking  replace faces and nothing is happen it because of the sub folders. Happened to me so it should be like the example below on where you install your games.

F:\FM24 Save\graphics\URAN Visible Kits\players\male  . this is where you put the graphic.

On the FMZ tool you should have the image directory as  F:\FM24 Save\graphics\URAN Visible Kits/

Hi,

I’ve followed instructions and have experience of using the initial version. However, I'm getting this far and now nothing is happening when I click replace? Is this a known issue?

Thanks for this.

I have downloaded the cutout version of the faces and not the kit showing one. Is the fix for this version of the facepack still renaming it URAN Visible Kits or would it be different?

Similarly, could anyone please provide the correct pathway for the cutout faces? I cannot get them to appear in-game. When I click the generate button, nothing happens.

I found the solution via following the video instructions on sortioutsi youtube tutorial.

Download the faces, extract them and put the folder named players into  My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024/graphics/Uran Faces Megapack.

If you have done everything else correctly, the replace faces button should now work.

If you have previously used that tool and are using the same saved game you will have to continue using that tool.

Someone please tell me this isn't actually the case? I can't see why this would be impossible to do, but I guess I might as well confirm. I assume the quoted line is so that people don't attempt to preserve images from NewGan to FM.Z, which I am not trying to do. I simply want to generate faces from scratch. I was able to replace all faces successfully, according to FM.Z, however, all I see in-game are a bunch of blank faces for all the regens. When I say “blank”, I mean literally no face - neither FM's regen faces nor the facepack's. Any help?

If I understand correctly, do you mean that you've used both NewGan Manager and FM.Z in the same saved game… and then generating images from scratch isn't working?

So, is it possible that you still have both config files from NewGan Manager and FM.Z, which may cause conflicts? May try to move (or rename) one of them, and see if it may work?

That worked! you legend thank you

This definitely worked. It's basically going up on level on the directories where the “/players” are. For me it is “Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024/graphics/Newgan Faces/ …”

My only issue is that for my club that I manage I see the Uran newgen faces but in the country manager screens that I manage it is still the old newgen faces (even for the same player). So depending on whether I am in the country or club view, my player looks different. Anyone has any ideas on how to resolve?

I suspect that it's a case of me copying the Newgan config file to the Country manager folder? Anyone know where that would be?
