SI have announced that FM24 will remain active on various platforms including Apple Arcade, Xbox Game Pass, Netflix and PlayStation Plus until FM25 comes out.
However due to licensing issues they've released an update which removes various licensed clubs. We are still working out exactly whats been removed but as far as we know so long as you redownload and reinstall the FM24 Real Name Fix it should be fixed.
IMPORTANT don't listen to people telling you just to delete individual files, the update put back lots of other files you want to remove. The best thing to do is follow the instructions in the Real Name Fix and replace all the dbc, edit and inc folders with the ones we provide.

From what I've seen I think it's only the Milan clubs that have been removed. To fix that, simply remove the All folder within the Inc folder in 2430 (as you would to install the real name fix)

The update has put all the files back into the DB folder so they all need to be removed not just the new Italian ones.

It is also necessary to remove italy.dbc in the DBC folder.

Just follow the instructions in the Real Name Fix and replace all the DBC, INC and EDT folders with what we provide.
You're wasting your time if you're trying to figure out yourself which individual files to remove 🙂

it's work a couple of hours ago. and after i shut my laptop down and went back from dinner, its back to normal where name and logo disappear. A couple of hrs ago i applied the fix and it's back to normal, with real logo and name. shut down and went back from dinner, it's became fake name and logo, reapply the fix, still not working. Pls help…

Hi guys, just found a fix by myself, you have to remove .DS_Store folder, which seem like it will generate by the game itself sometime. Removing this file, will enable logo and team name back to normal. Not sure if it's cause anything to game itself, just copy at some where else.

The .lnc files in “lnc/all” you can just open in notepad and see what they do. Some only change stuff in other languages but others clearly do fake name stuff. As for the .dbc files are harder to figure out though

It needs to remove the same files above, in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2024\data\database\db\2400\lnc\all and in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2024\data\database\db\2400\dbc\permanent
And it works.

I think u need setting windows defender exclusion to fm mod folder

Again, logos and graphics are not related to real name and licensing fixes.
And you don't need any exclusion from antivirus/defender to reapply files.

@Charles van Nes what do you mean by double names? You mean they're called “Jordan Henderson Jordan Henderson” or there are two players both called “Jordan Henderson”? It's not very clear.

@Footygamer I meant two players both called the same name, But i believe i solved the mystery,
I had FM24 NextGen Wonderkids Database | Potential FM25 Wonderkids by Passionfm in there as well and these were probably the cause of it.
I am gonna do a double check and then i will let ya know.
One other thing that
occured was that some players, after the update, lost their facepic. That perhaps because of the update?
