It's going down. Ridiculously, all of those have release clauses below £20m.

Isco too? Fucks sake, that the best <£20mil Wenger can spend dammit.

Isco has been continually linked to us for months; the Brazilian media claim we are going to bid ~£11.5m for Paulinho in January. Benat's been linked too, that one I'm going more on the Spanish media reports tbh.

Obviously, we could end up missing out on all three but with Soriano and Txiki as our two main-men it seems plausible.

Please don't take Isco. I want to see him and Santi reunited.

You can have Nasri back. It'd be worth it just to see how Piers Morgan reacts.

Liverpool sign an unproven striker who's barely touched a ball this season for 12 million.

Chelsea replace him with one of the leagues top scorers for almost 5m less.

Liverpool really are awful in the transfer market.

Yeah but Ba to Chelsea is a step up for the player, he's not going to make a sideways move.

So Ba forces us to change our tactic because he hates playing out wide, then moves to Chelsea, who will almost certainly make him play out wide because of the presence of Torres. Fucking idiot.

Can't see him playing wide with Moses, Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Marin etc.

Bench, then. Hope the doubled wages are worth it.

Newcastle are the stupid ones for allowing such a low buy out clause really.

Aye, I don't understand why a player that has only been outscored by Rooney and RVP isn't worth 60-70k a week?

He's one of the best strikers in the division and should be payed for that accordingly.

Obviously he should start ahead of Torres. Whether he does or not is another question. They'll probably be rotated but if Ba gets his chance and scores then I can see him being the main striker til the end of the season.

With Ba gone, Cisse could start scoring again. But it's a bit of a risky gamble to do that.

Then again, with Cisse back in the middle, it means he won't be shoehorned into the wing role he looks distinctly uncomfortable in.

Newcastle apparently allowed the release clause because they refused to pay massive wages or a massive signing on fee or something. Apparently he gets quite a lot of the transfer fee as well. He signed on a free though, so Newcastle haven't really lost anything, just gained a very good striker for 18 months.

Ba will also be a much more expensive signing than just £7.5m, apparently he's demanding £80k-90k p/w. Plus big agent fees and he will be expensive to insure. And obviously has the potential to just break down.

He gets 50% of the fee supposedly. I don't blame him for pushing for a move if that's true.

I red a report the other day (might've been yesterday) saying a transfer breaks down as £12.5M, with £5M to his agent and £2.5M to the striker himself, not to mention the other expenses of an £80,000-a-week plus wage bill and the complication of any medical he undergoes.

If his agent is really making £5m from the deal then it's fucking scandalous. It'd be hard to justify even if the transfer was worth £50m, but for him to get such a large percentage of a relatively small fee sounds fishy.

I heard the transfer clause was £7.5m with Ba set to get £2.5m of that. With presumably a lot of that money going to agents/advisors. The expenses of the deal explaing why no club would buy him in the summer.

Anyway I can't stand any Newcastle fans who will inevitably complain about Ba's lack of loyalty (where was his loyalty to Hoffenheim or West Ham?) and are delighted we can get rid of Danny Simpson.

I think that cements my point. Hart is not as good as people say. People in the media saying he is the best in the world, absolute joke. Not even top 10. Good keeper, not outstanding.
