Every year I start over again - starting to transfer players and staff to their club of origin or youth club (or mother club, as we call it in Norway - not sure of the english expression). It's a big task, and every time I start off playing far too early.
Is there a way to make all those changes in an easier way? I think of using the club history's first team, and make all players go to this club. Of course, there are many things that will be difficult, i.e. high player wages at small clubs, etc. Also all clubs/leagues should have transfer embargos. Another problem there is that players that don't want to be at the club and won't sign a contract will be free agents, and will never find another club. That's a shame... With a save game editor that can make these changes, one could do this every summer.
Any thoughts? I would certainly love a game like this!

I can think of no other way to do it but manually. However, I see no reason why you should have to do the same file every year instead of using the same base file then adding/editing it accordingly...

Thanks, I've used the in-game editor just because it's faster than the pre-game, and it's easy to see the home-grown status in scouting to see all players that were trained in the club you're editing. I don't know how to create programs, but I can't imagine it's too difficult to make a pre-game (or save game) program to make a player go to the first club in the club history overview. And null out wages, set long contracts and make transfer embargo (the latter is quite easy in the pre-game editor). I might be wrong, of course.

I use FMRTE to keep players at a club by setting the contract start date/signed to be in the future the outcome is even if you play as a 'top' club and try and sign a non league player even IF the club accepts the offer the player will refuse to enter negotiations as they will say they have only just joined club/signed a new contract so this works brilliantly
This can be added to as many players as you wish by use of a pre set
